Guys not every movie that features a gangster is a gangster movie.
The Departed,Snatch,Pulp Fiction,Lucky Number Slevin,Cidade De Deus and Jackie Brown are as much gangster movies as i am an astronaut.
I mean 90% of action movies feature a gangster or a mafia guy or something like that but this doesnt make them gangster movies.
Anyway here are some real gangster movies that havent yet be mentioned.
Get Carter one of the best and most underated gangster films of all time (i am talking ofcourse about the Michael Caine one and not the idiotic remake with Stallone) with great acting,plot and majestic atmosphere.A personal favorite this one.Michael Caine at his best.
Find Me Guilty is an excellent comedy featuring gangsters with Vin Diesel in the best role of his career as an italian mobster who doesnt accept to rat his friends and send them to prison.Amazing gangster movie that you got to see.
A Sense Of Freedom although not 100% a gangster movie this biography film follows Jimmy Boyle's life in prison,he was Scotlands bigger gangster/troublemaker ever and this is one of my favorite films ever and i spend 7 years trying to find its name and another two years trying to buy it.This is among the top three best prison movies ever and very (if not 100%) gangster related.This is a must see people.
McVicar is an excellent british gangster movie based on a true story,really interesting this one,if you like jail movies you will like this one too.
A Bittersweet Life (Dalkomhan Insaeng) by the master Ji Woon Kim,another asian gangster film very very good and highly suggested that shows what happens when "soldiers" dont follow their bosses exact orders.Great one.
Election (Hak Se Wui) is an excellent Triad gang film dealing with the election of a new leader within a huge gangster organisation,very nice movie.

The Godfather
Once Upon a Time In America
those movies are great in everything. from the brilliant acting to the epic and amazing story. from outstanding filming to beautiful soundtracks by Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone. wich is unbeatable!
