particularly excited that Coral is on this year's lineup. it's about time! and with Lauryn, of course, this festival has locked down the best female energy available...

The main floor lineup is pretty disappointing this year. Who is going to play at night and into early morning? "Dark" and psytech could be better represented. Digitalist is good, but not great. Doubt this will be worth a flight.

The full-on/prog lineup is awesome and well represented, but I too feel like the nighttime lineup is lacking on the international side, with one international nighttime artist for 3 nights of music (which is great btw thanks! eheh). BUT! I have faith in our future national/regional nighttime line-up and maybe, we can hope, we'll have some nice suprises there. I have faith that Eg-bot and Lauryn will probably be representing and playing some good nighttime music like they have the past few years.

One of my favorite things about the GM crew is that their regional DJs/Producers can throw down with the best of them.

I think up-and-coming DJs/producers PsyOps (Free Radical Records/Bom Shanka Music) and Lauryn (PEAK Records) can take us through the night-time hours quite nicely.

Even though I may still be a bit of a newbie to the group, I know how to appreciate a good stomp. And if Lauryn's set is anything like what she spun with Eg-Bot at the Healing Ananda Benefit in Philly; or that Wicked set she threw down last summer at the Pines; I don't think there will be any shortage of mayhem in the Stone Circle during the darkest hours.

If there are any doubts, check out her collaboration track "Random Piracy" on Yab-Yum's myspace page:

http://www.myspace.com/yabyumpeak

And speaking of PsyOPs; this guy's sets COMPLETELY brought down the house at two major parties in NYC in the last year or so; not to mention spinning alongside some of the best psychedelic artists in the world at the Free Radicals/Noisy Radicals Festival in South Africa.

Just check out the flyer for that party at:

http://www.myspace.com/sachafreeradical

and look for any artists from the USA who took part in that killer line-up.

Yep... there's only one American on the line-up, listed right below Moog on the right hand side of the flyer, under "DJ's":

"Johnathan (USA)" aka PsyOps!

I'm sure this guy is cooking up a super sick set of some of the most psychedelic, drivingly intense, yet ultimately danceable tracks that you can completely lose yourself to; from some of the most underground yet influential producers from across the globe.

Just check out some of the tracks from his label mates and good friends at Bom Shanka Music, and you will get a taste of the "full-having it" style that is going to blast Four Quarters straight into the multiverse!

Gaian Mind made me realize that Philly can live up to the nickname: "the City of Brotherly Love."

I can't wait to stomp in the stones with GM and all you other freeks from near and far.

It looks like its gonna be a good ol' HOE-DOWN, Pennsyltuckey Style!!!!

WOOOT WOOOT

P.S. I'm a little suprised to see both Pat and Dave on the North Crook Lineup. I guess that means you guys get to throw down on the dance floor with the rest of the freeks for the duration!!!

Cheers all, and someone please bring some Bloody Mary Mix!

Okay, so no one responded to my quite ambitious and perhaps way too long post above.

This needs to be bumped anyway.

See you all tomorrow night!

I vaguely remember there were buses running to Gaian Mind last year (or maybe this is a false memory). Any idea if there will be buses this year from NYC?           >>>Are you present now?

If you bought BRAIN BUSTERS' "GOODS CARRIER" compilation, the remastered version (thanks DIGITALIST) has been sent to pressing and is due to arrive back at Brain Busters headquarters in Tokyo the day before Mimi and I leave for the U.S. and A. so as long as they arrive on time, I'll be bringing some copies with me.

Bring your original to the festival and you can get the remaster from me. If you don't have GOODS CARRIER yet, don't panic... I will also have some copies for sale.

If the CDs don't arrive in time I'll have burned copies for anyone who has the original - so you can at least have some good sound until you get the real one.

Let's hope they arrive on time...

I will be there. Flying in to Philly on the 14th to chill with Karmakanik, then hitching a ride back to NYC and flying back on the 25th.

I'm bringing my croquet set. I play USCA 9-wicket rules. I just got this glow in the dark paint so we'll see if we can play at night too.           Kent

is this an aquatic themed croquet set?

sounds fun although might be tricky finding some level ground to play on. glow in the dark sounds like the way to go!!!
