Second that! But he maybe beyond resurrection at this point. Haven't heard much new or good from him since "In the hands of the Randomizer" release. |

didn't emok play in the morning on sunday? I remember it being daylight...

Yes, he started while it was dark and into the sunrise. Saturday night, Sunday morning--semantics.

That was Bus that started the prog vibes right after Electrypnose, and right on time since I was starting to get tired of the more pumping stuff. Both Bus's & Emok's sets were absolutely massive
Row row row your boats gently down the stream; merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream. |

i think it would be cool to bring out all the west coast US artists. it would be pretty cool to make it more US centric in general to show off the home grown artists. To me most the best stuff is coming from the west coasters anyway. Maybe throw in texas faggot....Ghreg on Earth, Mubali, Ocelot and Texas Faggot in one night..the whole place would probly mysteriously vanish at the end of the night. |

Texas Faggot is from Finland, not Texas. Ocelot isnt even really based in the US anymore. US psytrance (or North American psytrance) was the whole premise of the AUM Festival, so why try to steal it's thunder? In past years Gaian Mind has been very fair in bringing in artists from other parts of the US to represent things equally. Sure the West Coast gets a lot of visibility based on the number of artists releasing and the size of scene, but there is equally good talent on the East Coast and in other parts of the country. By making things more "US centric" to "show off the home grown artists", who are we showing them off to, ourselves? |

Why pay for an artist fly halfway around the world when there are plenty of good american psy artists that rarely get the chance to play their music.
I'd love to play at the GMSF, but have never been asked. I'd also like to see D-Space and M-Field as well as Mind Warped from NYC. Deeper In Zen would be good to hear as well!

Cause it's a cool thing to do... Artists from other countries bring different energy with them, which makes for fun times.
Hmm, perhaps that's why it's called Gaian-Mind, instead of American-Mind. |
