It would be hard for me to describe my feelings and afterthoughts regarding this festival using prose, so I decided to write a double-haiku (2 in 1) instead
Psychedelic Dance
Powerful, Moving, Spirit
Gaian-Mind Blessing
Soul cleansing, Reborn
Encompassing us in love
We'll never forget
  We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home. |

I loved watching the people scatter when the rain hit. It felt so good like the earth was cleansing all of us. Just spinning with my arms out soaking up all it had to offer. as usual sunday morning was amazing. Its funny how you can go through a whole crowd of people laced with ones you know aNd not see any of them. Archedreamm was an amazing touch I hope to see them at more events in the future. Ive never felt more at home at an event. Thanks GM and all of the artists that made this happen and thanks four quarters for giving us a members spot out of the swamp.

Oh my god.
What a wonderful festival.
Beautiful, mesmerizing, breath-taking.
The organisation, the forest, the weather, the music.
But most of all, the people. Such beautiful people, such energy, such positive vibrations.
Words will never express what I felt at Gaian Mind 2006. I thought that last year was the best party ever, but it gets better and better all the time.
Yes, there might be parts that could be changed, but we all know that the whole is not just the sum of its parts. And the whole could not have been any better. Personally, I would have improved small details, but that would have probably in the process ended up diminishing the overall feel.
The rain. Wow. Magnificent. I could not have asked for anything better on the dancefloor on sunday morning. Yes, all my stuff is wet, etc., but it was oh so worth it for those hours I was soaking dancing my ass off. Like dancing submerged in water, and I don't know about the others, but I love listening to music submerged in water. A dream come true. So refreshing, so beautiful.
The music. I cannot comment on all the artists, as I spent most of the time away from the main dancefloor (the downbeat stage was once again sublime).
Phony Orphants had a very good live overall; they improve their live every time I see them.
But Michael's set on Sunday morning.
There are a lot of people out there that play good music. But Michael simply knows what he is doing. That was simply the best DJ set ever.
While almost flawless technically (I heard people saying they thought it was all one long track), the flow was perfect (more perfect than I could imagine perfect being). I have never danced like that in my life. Thank you so much. You have a wonderful musical vision. This is the first time I really cried on a dancefloor.
Anyways, this is all I could manage to say right now, because emotions are starting to flood me once again.
Thank you all so much, everyone is so beautiful; I love you all.

I am speechless as usual but I will try to speak anyway. This year's festival was amamzing as I knew it would be but yes, it does get better every year, rain or shine. I was so close to not being able to come because of my car but it all worked out. Getting lost right near 4Q was interesting too but we met some lovely people from Canada (who well be seeing at Eclipse) who helped us to 4Q.
The workshops were sooooo much fun but and I'm glad I decided to participate and host my own. Thanks to anyone on Isra that came but I know most of you were meeting eachother at that time. I only got to meet one person that I know of. Ichiro-lovely to meet you, I hope we meet again!
Friday night was a bit strange for me, during Mukti's set I just had to get some sleep or I was going to drop on the dancefloor, I'm sure everyone would have just danced around me. I woke up in the morning and OMFG! Shane Gobi had me dancing like a crazy person, sooooooo good.
Soon these dudes from Goahead productions set up camp next to us and they were really cool guys...who gave us cd's, weeeeeee! It was nice to see Archdream perform and even better talk to some dancers after the show, I learned a lot.
The feast was yummy-nums, especially after not eating for a day, it was delicious.
Sunday's set was truly special. The rain and the energy on the dancefloor made it magical. Smiling and dancing with all of the amazing people and children I meet or already knew, incredible UK artist on a sacred land. My friend was moved to tears.
As with last year, plans for GMSF 2007 are already in the works but now, I'm planning for Eclipse. The Canadian crew have convinced us to go up this year. Me and my hunny talked it over and it's possible. Hope to see everyone next year or through out the year. |

i had an amazing time.. it was also my first real psy party expereince and i dont think it could have been any better  will see you all next year... and at the next party whenever that is hehehe  |

Thank you, Gaian Mind and everybody who contributed in so many ways (amazing visuals, good coffee! and awesome chai), for this beautiful experience.
My personal highlights were KONFLUX who so elegantly led us into the night(Vasja, zamechateljnyj set!), PSYMMETRIX who propelled me out into cosmos, and the LUNAR MOTHS who made the story complete.

truly amazing gathering.
mind-bending sets from everyone! my personal faves were mukti, s.o.t. and psymmetrix!
"put away your crack pipes and your bongs" haha!..
it was exremely pleasant to meet old and new friends!

wow..... this was really a new experiance to me.. i had such a great time in the bush with all the gaian mind crew...met so many lovely people and really enjoyed playing my first set in the US on such a specail event.
Thanks so so much to everyone that took care of me, it was such a shame i had to leave the festival on Saturday... such is life
