Anyone think I'm going to run into problems trying to rent a car to drive from the airport? (I'm 23.)

Also, any recommendations as to which airport would be the easiest to fly into? All of them cost about the same-- DC, Baltimore, and Philly I think

Thanks-

Most car rental companies require that you are 25, but I think some rent to younger people. As for the airport, I would go with Dulles (DC).

there are companies that rent to drivers under the age of 25, but usually you will have to pay an extra fee in the neighborhood of $25/day.

Pittsburgh airport is also pretty close. It's under 3 hours. I think Pittsburgh is closer than Philly; not sure how it compares to DC or Maryland though, but it may be cheaper...

from Allen's words it's BWI, and that's where we are flying to.

For those flying in, it may be worthwhile to try to get a carpool set up. There may already be a message board for this somewhere...

Presenting the 5th Annual
GAIAN MIND SUMMER FESTIVAL

Thursday, June 22nd to Sunday, June 25th, 2006
Four Quarters – Central Pennsylvania, USA

Join us for four days and three nights of Transcendental Dance in the open air – truly, a magical event which has quickly become an annual summer tradition for the global Trance Tribes!

Stone Circle Stage (Psy-Trance & Progressive Trance)

BUS / GUS TILL
(Sub Records/Cyan Music – Bali, Indonesia)
Live and DJ Trance set, plus DJ Downtempo set!
A true pioneer and veteran of the psytrance scene, Gus Till has released 60+ tracks over the years, with three new albums last year alone! From his retrospective downtempo album, "Dub Shadows," to the ambient soundscapes of "Electric Oceans," and most significantly, the long-awaited gem by Bus, "morebusinesslinkyouthere," where he showcases a range of styles from gorgeous morning grooves to deep, moody trance - all with a healthy dose of psychedelica!

PHONY ORPHANTS
(Iboga Records – Copenhagen, Denmark)
Live!
Since their first release appeared in 1999, Phony Orphants have crafted a fat, driving sound which rocks every dancefloor! Currently, they’ve been touring the world in support of their second full-length album, "It'Cetera." With a wide variety of influences and styles, expect a journey from bouncy progressive trance, through groovy electro inspired tunes and funky house beats - psychedelically enhanced! Pumping, grooving electronica at its finest!

SHANE GOBI
(Alchemy Records – London, UK)
First USA appearance!
Over the past several years, Shane Gobi, founder of Alchemy Records, has become one of the leading DJ's in the global psytrance scene. He has earned himself a solid reputation with a loyal following for his unique morning sets and his technical, energetic DJ style. In 2003, Shane was voted DJ of the year by the worldwide trance dancefloors on Isratrance.com. Prepare yourself for a journey that captures those ecstatic and spontaneous moments where the sound, vision, and dancefloor are one!

ELECTRYPNOSE
(Peak Records/Kabrathor Records – Sion, Switzerland)
Live Trance and Downtempo sets! First North American appearance!
With a solid debut on Resonantearth last year, and numerous, outstanding tracks on various compilations, there is a huge buzz surrounding Swiss producer Vince le Barde. In 2006, he released his second album, "Le Tireur de Ficelles," and his upcoming downtempo and experimental album, "Subliminal Atmospheres," is due later this year. Electrypnose delivers a distinctive musical style with clever arrangements, crazy breaks, huge buildups, and demented driving basslines. If you like it hard, dark, and twisted, this is for you!

EMOK
(Iboga Records – Copenhagen, Denmark)
As co-founder of Iboga Records and one half of Phony Orphants, Emok plays a selection of the best, newest, and most well produced tracks from the Scandinavian trance scene, mixed with an intense and powerful progression. His seamless mixing and ability to set the perfect mood on the dancefloor has earned him respect and admiration worldwide. As one of the most significant trance DJ's today, Emok will guide you on a magical voyage through space and sound!

PSYMMETRIX
(PharPsyde Records – London, UK)
Live! First USA appearance!
Psymmetrix have been tearing apart the London squat and party scene for the past two years and after headlining the Liquid stage at the Glade Festival (UK) last year, they have quickly developed quite a following in the underground psytrance scene. Bringing 18 years of love of trance music to their live sets, and getting rave reviews wherever they perform, they will be unleashing dancefloor mayhem with their unique brand of full-power, psytrance stompers!

DANIEL PINCHBECK (Evolver Project - NYC)

Daniel Pinchbeck is one of the leading voices in today’s counter-culture, exploring the connections between psychedelics and shamanism and their importance in the modern era. Though he’s published feature articles in the New York Times Magazine, Esquire, Wired, The Village Voice and is a regular columnist in Arthur magazine, it was his 2003 book, "Breaking Open the Head: A Psychedelic Journey into the Heart of Contemporary Shamanism," which seems to have really given him a higher profile among those interested in alternative religion and spirituality. He will be speaking in support of his forthcoming book, "2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl."
