every time i hear him play it just gets better and better......

I would like to go, but if I take the bus from Newark Penn Station or New York Port Authority it will stop running at 12, and I don't want to be stranded in Philly for 3 hours until the bus starts running again. I don't know philly, is there any after-hours to chill at before the bus starts running again at 6am?
I am used tooliving in the rougher parts of Jersey City, so I don't think being in Philly will be a big deal, but I would like to know if it is dangerous to be out after dark on foot like in Newark and Jersey City or is it safer like in New York City? I am asking because I was thinking about bringing along some friends, and I haven't been to Philly, and I want us to stay reasonably safe while we are there. really great crowd and energy, i don't think i've ever danced so much at Ulana's before.
i'm trying not to sound like a sycophant here, but Dean really blows me away.......... every time i hear him it's like his music has taken a quantum leap forwards, and that's really saying something because it was so good to start with.

brought quite of few out of towners with me, including some of pete's friends from austin, who literally landed in nyc earlier in the afternoon, and then hopped on the bus to philly with us but a couple hours later. real troopers!
