There are a few levels to things being said. Especially when irony and satire are at hand.
Obviously triplets are not evil in themselves (anyone said Hallucinogen), however, the fact that everything starts to sound the same, is... well... boring. That was the point, mate.

Sure, that is the point. They are doing the exact same thing they are dissing, why is that? And if its satire they could well come out and say these are 10 reasons why LOUD's music is shit. Now THAT would have been some good satire and would have gain some extra fans for it.
So the joke's on them now, is it not funny anymore?

i think the video is funny, why there is so many people upset??
in this forum during the entire year, almost every week there are a lot of threads of people criticizing everything... yet if some stablished producer makes a joke like this, everyone becomes upset
theres no reason for this...
why cant they make a parody of them selfs?

It certainly is generic and bad enough for this to happen. If not, maybe some pop hit style thing like Playa Den Bossa, Ibiza might take it up. It's a bad publicity stunt with really crappy music alright... so it has every chance to become famous! Just like Ace Ventura

imo they are spot on on most of the reasons i cannot stand this kind of music played in a party/festival - thats the reason that each time loud plays a set i run off the dancefloor
i do think they make some good music, but what they play in their sets sounds almost exactly like this video, and yes LSDance is one of the most horrifying examples
but seriously now, so many "prog" sounds like this today that its just plain ridiculous, and the sad thing about it is that it seems people like it... if someone likes what you are making and you can make a living off of it, thats pretty much simple logic to me (hence the timeless contradiction of art and logic). that being said, the vast majority of the crowd that likes this music at least here in israel, has nothing to do with the psychedelic scene except for the fact that they are going to such parties, so maybe (well, surely from my point of view) this is the root cause for the phenomena and not the other way around... i mean, in what i call a true psychedelic gathering theres no music like that, nor the crowd... |

But they don't make fun of them selves, that is the thing. Its not psytrance that is shit, its their own music, yet the don't say 10 reasons LOUD's music is shit, its psy-trance that is shit and all these prog formulas, are not in what I call psy-trance. Anyway...I've only liked a couple of tracks from them, so someone that is of no importance to me, can say any old bollocks about it, it is of no consequence to me.
