I really think that the two genres would work well together... psy trance break beats......

Does anyone know anyone out there who has produced anything of the sort?

Hit me back..

Maybe some stuff like Violet Vision is what you're talking about? Their second album is great

hey, there was a really big breaktrance boom around 1999 I guess, so try to find

21:3 Records

I cannot remeber the name, it was something like va "breaktrance exscursions"
Anythng from this label is great, they released Tristan, andie Guthrie, Pol Zirkular, Digitalis and stuff.

Highly recomendable!

The now long gone Blue Room label released pure Psy-DnB-breakbeat albums about 5 years ago by, amongst others, Spectral, Acid Rockers and Deviant Electronics...

yeah, ect rocks!!!
i think he did the very best breakbeat tracks so far.
take a look at shakta and cosmosis also.
this is not really breakbeat, but there are elements of it. the snaredrums are often pretty breaky...

The more breaks I hear in trancemusic the less I get in trance.
I like the music, but if you put breakbeats in psytrance it's just not trance anymore. IMO.

there is a breakbeat master artist called
"Tipper" (Dave Tipper) from the UK who is
very, VERY psychedelic.

it is not trance, but it has a deep and Posford-esque quality that totally blows me away. Open-minded psy-trancers would do well to check him out!

but it can be psy
psy is much more important to me (than trance)
the term trance is problematic anyway...
the terms extasy/ euphoria fit much better, i think...

As far as I remember it is to dance..

And some breakz here and there are the summum to make me dance as never..

i love it when there is breaks on trance or even just psy breakz:
Eraser vs. Yojalka on exogenic records is my favorite, and its sooo intense. and Kiwa on Surreal Audio do mad psybreakz too. all from finland, and there are some more finns on the exogenic breaks label too.

nam shub of enki/spaztech and scozbor of australia as well do craaaaaazyyyy trancy breaks or breaksy trance...

plus i think ubar tmar's stuff is like breaks

check out the psy-harmonics label. seems like all their stuff is psy breaks/trance

hey and everybody parties differently, as long as you are there. that's what counts.

I did say I liked this kind of music, but not to get me in trance, and I also said In My Opinion
Breaks are contratrance, it shakes you out of it...isn't it?
I once talked to this sjaman like type and he told me he once went to goaparty to get in trance, but he couldn't, because of all the breaks and climaxbuilding uppers.
But hey, I love the music
