i was djing at a very small party on a rooftop in tel aviv, and the dj before me burnt the reciever (they were using regular recievers as pa), so i was stuck with an old reciever.
so im doing my thing, cuing up and beat mixing, dancing like a madman with my headphones on, when all of the sudden, someone taps me on my shoulder, i look up and the whole crowd looks at me, i took off my headphones, and there is no music...
the reciever shut down.
it was the same for another 4 or 5 times. |

Imho i think there are a lot of crazy dj's and artists. but from what i see in one party raja ram is one of the crazy ppl in the psytrance world this guy is a cute grandpapa....
and he know how to dig hooo yaa iam tell u guys he know... |

I'm going to see Raja live this month..
Anyhow one of my strangest moments in a party has to be in Koneisto 01 while Texas Faggott was playing..
I was danging like a madman in the "first row" when suddenly there wes a huge fireball above me, the fags were spitting fire and the fire caught someone's hair (poor guy) and I immediately threw my water to his head.. And he was like "what the f*#&@ are you doing?!?" and didn't believe me when I told him that his hair was burning

Well, I'll tell a story about a small party I went to around Nimbin in Australia. All night there were really crap DJs, and then around 6AM with the sunrise, comes to the DJ stand this thin, bald man, looked something like Patrick Stewart only thinner and shorter. He must have been around 60 years old.
He jumped around a bit in the DJ stand, and then basically kicked the other DJ that was there out. Me and a few other guys laughed, it was like watching a dying cancer patient move this 18 year old out of his way to the decks.
Every time I remember the way he went on to the stand I smile.
He gave the best set in the party by the way.

in my VERY short dj expirience career (ah career, sounds good  ) i had onlu bizzare thing. i played only once infront big crowd, it was gaash under the ground party (if u know what im speaking about, its realy under the ground) maded by my old friend itsik Ben isti aka Maskalin. moshe kenan played first, than avi algernati then ofir balaish aka cube files, then astrix (tottaly unkown then) and then me (just before unknown duo known today as atomic pulse), so my soft tuch trax maked all the ppl so angry that i almost got bombed by some criminals and then police came and took all our MD that we had.. great story, dont u think ??

That's funny you say that about Raja being a cute Grandpa. At the big Solstice festival last month, my girlfriend and I were up at the front of main stage to watch Raja's set. It was too crowded there to dance, but his funny arm actions were so fun to watch. She said to me, "I wish Raja were my grandpa!" She just fell in love with him. Anyway, we became TIP groupies at that point. In the morning, he was DJing in a tipi at the Lakeside chillout stage. We were able to have a chat with Brahma. Really decent bloke (huge respect!). At the the end of our chat, she said she'd like to give Raja a hug. Brahma went over to Raja - during his set - and then Raja looks over to us at the side of the tipi and her outstretched "hug-me-Grandpa" arms. He started doing this psychedelic arm waving thing towards her, and made all these happy psychedelic facial expressions as he slowly danced over to her, drawing out the whole event. Then finally she got a great big hug on beat and then a big "Yes!" and a high-five for me. Fantastic!
He's the coolest grandpa I've ever seen, and definitely has the best, most psychedelic vibe of any artist I've met. Keep going, Raja! |

Well everybody's saying that Raja is really nice guy, but i saw hime once in TIP party and asked him if he wants to take a picture with me, and he just refused and said that he wants to dance.
Well isn't any Celebrity Etic code or something like that?
