What is the meaning of Funky Psytrance ? Which artist is meant to be Funky ? could you plz point some funkyPsytrance artists ?

My favorite style and some artists the I LOVE are Pixel, Rinkadink, Sub6, Triptych, Panic & Tikal.

i think "funky" means groovy. so if you hear groovy trance tune then it's the funky psytrance. it depends on how rhythm and bass build up, straight or with some groovy breaks....kinda thing ) |

funk is something u can't explain, u have to feel the funk. george clinton, one of the masters of funk, once said: "if it makes you shake your rump, it's the funk". Fred Wesleys definition of funk is: "If you have a syncopated bassline, a strong, strong heavy back beat from the drummer, a counter-line from the guitar or the keyboard, and someone soul-singing on top of that, then you have funk".
what does this tell us? there is no straight definition of funk, ist a feeling like an orgasm...
groove and funks is not the same IMHO. while groove is what u dont play, funk is what u play in the right position and order.

Loopus in Fabula, Eraser vs. Yojalka, Rip Van Hippy, Haltya, and there are quite a few others, but these are the basic ones. Dragongurl, I think you are way, way off - if someone looks for something funky, don't give him (or her) Israeli full-on. Anything released by HOMmega is not funky by definition 
Groove = something that makes you move in accordance with it.
Funky = when you hear it, you know it is (you can know James Brown is funky, you can know Louis Armstrong is, you better know that Infected Mushroom aren't  ).

ok count with tempo....
1...2...3...4... - thats boring and not funky!
1...2....3..4... - the 3 is late
1..2....3...4... - 2 is sooner
1...2...3....4.. - 4 is late...
some examples for several diffrent grooves that make music funky and add "touch"
4X4 its jeep not groove!
and my reccomendation is :
Haltya , Loopus in fabula , Squaremeat , ohh yeah and Sattel battle

Try "Quirk - Quality Control", Quirk's 2nd album, released in 1999.
Track no. 6 on that album which called "Wah Wah Wah" is Funky!!!
