Well it's becoming more then a habbit in Brazil for organizers to announce their partie artist as having a HI-TECH music stylle. I mean, wtf is a HI-TECH fullon stylle? A new word to seduce, to trick, to CHEAT the public?

Pra quem não sabe o Avi estará apresentando seu novo live, com um novo estilo, sem sair do full on, mas agora com um som mais dançante e puxando mais pro lado Hi Tech, não mais com tanta melodia que caracterizava seu som antes, sendo assim nao se parace mais com Alien Project, AStrix e outros que possume essa linha mais melódica.
Summarizing, it says ULTRAVOICE got a new HI-TECH live, not melodic as ALien project and Astrix, but HI-TECH.

I saw in another forum they calling Black and White, HI-TECH too... so, HI-TECH is the oposite of melodic? is there such thing? What do you understand by HI-TECH? For me just another piece of crap for those capitalist organizers... anyway...

New sub genre of sub genre, discovered by Brazilians to define Israelis. I think you should ask the posters what does this means, not us! really i don't want to know what is Lo-Tech if that's is the Hi-Tech. |

afaik "low tech" is a pixel track... 
i think the term high tech is indeed another marketing too to sound fresh. one thing, and this does bring it back to b&w, pixel, wm, etc... i could see how you could consider that hightech full on.... there are many mechanical sounds and techy zips and whooshes...
if any music would be called high-tech, i would go more for 3dvision style...
again, im thinking its a marketing idea.

Use the search! 
I already used the term "high tech" to describe music like Triptych, Pixel and Delirious.
I used just as an adjective that means "brand new" or "made with top notch skills or technology".
If Skazi can be Killarg, why somebody else can't be High Tech?

some artists today produce varied music ,
if you start naming each style in other name its endless and piontless...
you have some genres like dark, morning, prog' and fullon ect' ... no need to make more sub genres .
i think its pointless and even unfriendly to the new listeners of trance.
by the way Felix are you Hi-tech as well?

yeah it does looks as another marketing word..
but the concept i understand for the word high tech is high level of production that makes the sound especially CLEAN as for example infected mushroom and astrix nowdays.. its indeed something that very few artists reached till now imo, so maybe it could be called as high tech music

ps: hightech is always a matter of time. hightech today is always the crap of tomorrow. so this word is not very good for successful marketing. better would be: timeless music.
