This isn't a trance spirit. "F.Y." is a really bad title for a psy trance mix, but as far as I see, it's dark psy, so It's no wonder. It's a shame why people tend to be so aggressive in this specific style of trance. There are many nice and quality tracks & projects in dark psy, and I really think it's a shame that they are promoting themselves through agressive behavior and agressive attitudes.
It isn't so hard to be positive, just follow the light at the end of a tunnel. Peace!

I don't know there in Bosnia but here arround Belgium, Germany and Netherlands lately was been to many dark oriented parties and only happines and positive power i experienced I can tell you. so that FY can be also ironic it has not be all taken so litteraly. btw (at one house party lately, saw ugly and very negative things) so it's not style of music which brings people agressive or not,

I didn't say that the original idea of dark psy is agressive, no way  I listen to dark psy myself (the older dark projects especially) and all other styles in Psytrance, but all I was referring to is the aggressiveness in the promotion of dark psy music. Dark covers, with devils and blood, music on 150+ BPM with tooo twisted lead melodies and annoying sounds, and stuff like that are making dark sound like an evil music Especially new projects from eastern europe, they are going into psycore with their BPM's
There are many dark psy DJ's and underground projects here, especially in neighboring Serbia. Honestly, I didn't listen to this mix, but my first reaction to the title of the mix was like: "WHAT!?" I didn't find any irony in the title, though you say there is irony. But, I'll take my words back and appologize to the DJ of course, he has his own visions of music, and his own theme for the mix. I'll download it and give it a listen.

What drew me to this mix is the title cos it made me smile. I come from punk rock, so I get it ;-)
To me, FY is an attitude. A declaration of freedom from oppression of all types. And to declare it loud and proud is empowering. That's the way I feel on the dance floor, whether it's a mosh pit or psytrance floor. Pure positive energy/positive direction.
If that makes any sense ;-)
Ok now I'll actually check out the mix
