sometimes things are said out of haste......
emotional outbursts.......
everyone is entitled to them......
but.....you have to watch out.......with these "premature" outbursts come reprecussions.......
i find it that when i am upset about something.......i will try to not act upon it......."cooler heads" normally prevail........emotions make us say some things that maybe we really shouldn't say or things that we may regret at some point......
psyshop is one of the most important sites for me in the history of "psy trance".......provided so much music for so many years.....with descriptions of artists and other services.......they have been wonderful..........and like everyone...........they have had their faults............
i dont quite agree that psyshop wanted to change the name of the album.........but........maybe their are some other details that have not been divulged as well concerning this.......so maybe it isnt exactly as explained.......
i have a hunch.....based on Nabi's reactionary thread.........that "cooler heads" didnt prevail when this was being discussed between him and psyshop.......
and this thread..........jeje...........wow.........an attack on Nabi.........this seems a little harsh........

Yeah well to me the obvious irony only works if you look at it superficially.
Psychedelic culture and music is not confined to a name or a definition. If your album is called "psy trance is dead" it could actually be a wake up call promoting real psy music if the music inside is totally psychedelic.
Plus sometimes artists give ambiguos meanings to their work, or meanings that reflect the opposite, or that critique certain aspects of the scene but inside are actually promoting it for the better. I am not saying that is the case with Nabis album, haven't heard it yet, but you have to respect artists work.
And generally I find it totally lame and uncool for a psychedelic shop to censor stuff such as this. OK, maybe if the album was called "psyshop is dead", then the mislabeling might have being a good joke.
But still its infringing copyright. Period.
If you don't like the name then don't sell it, simple solution without the problems.
Yeah and I think the psyshop crew deserve the chance to be judged on other aspects, not only on this event.

It's just the name of a album.
Why the hell would nabi even bother to release a psytrance album if the genre was dead?
Where is the logic that?
