Seems to me psyshop didn't do it as a joke to be gotten or not. They intentionally mislabled their merchandise because of personal issues with it.
They should have stuck with their original reaction to the title which was to not carry it.
They have acted unprofessional, with this intentional mislabling, and will have to deal with the repercussions such as this so-called boycott (which may or may not happen).
One more thought regarding this topic:
The album had better be groundbreaking.
Either that or cheesy and commercial. That would perhaps match the title more aptly.
Can't wait to hear it.

you guys this topic and the opposite topic are sad...
i think its a bit hasty to "boycott psyshop"
because Emmanuhell got his title changed and his feelings hurt.
this is hardly the worst thing that could ever happen to his album and in fact its good promotion and publicity.
as for boycotting Nabi- you are either into Nabi records sound or not.. why should this the attitude of the owner affect your interest in some cutting edge amazing artists? Datakult is rocking for sure!
Emmanuhell on the other hand- well my impression is that he wants to harm someone at least once a day so nobody give him a weapon or anything thanks.

Was it unprofessional? Yes.
Was it ment to be an insult? Yes, obviously that must be what the evil psyshop was after!
Was it a big deal? Yes. I mean this is absolutely fucking massive and they must feel the repercussions!
What was that about seeing only what you want to see again? Something about Negative Nancies and the christian right mentality too..
We have this saying in finnish that goes like this: "tehdä kärpäsestä härkänen". I think your changes of getting it wouldn't increase much even if I translated it to english.

In finnish
kärpänen = a fly
härkä = a bull
Different word order. Got mixed up there.

I agree with that, I mean good music is good music, even if I thought Nabi Records did a wrong move it does not mean I should stop listening Datakult of Baphomet Engine.
