ATMOS - profile
After a short bedroom DJ career, Tomasz decided to produce his own music. Thanks to his natural talent for music, Tomasz released his first in 1996 on the British label, EVE records. It sold very well and gave him both zest and confidence to strive for more.

His influences from electronic and ambient-rock music like JM Jarre and Pink Floyd quickly made him become one of the most successful producers in the hypnotic and atmospheric trance scene. His sense for merging rhythm programming with delicate strings into a well-produced groovy sound is guaranteed to make everyone get down to the dance floor.

Tomasz has produced an experimental compilation with Flying Rhino, a mix CD with Phonokol and 2 albums with Spiral Trax. His album Headcleaner was a smashing hit and sold over than 16,000 copies. His trackKlein Aber Doctor can be found on a Ministry of Sound compilation mixed by Jimmy Van M. Remixes for Kox Box, The Delta and Cass N Slide are also in the bag. Tomasz has a side-project together with his friend Henrik Jonsson (aka Stressassassin) called Echolab, which features more club oriented music allowing him to experiment with this field. He has already released some tracks with the Swiss house label, Sog.

He is a sought after remixer and his remix of Saiko-pod on ACDC has been licensed to John 00 Flemming White Label Euphoria 2& Sandra Collin Perfecto Presents; and was shortlisted on Paul Oakenfold Great Wall mix CD on Perfecto. As well as gaining the support from DJs such as Paul van Dyk, Hernan Cattaneo, Armin van Buuren, Danny Howells and Chris Fortier to mention a few.

DJ John Phantasm.Profile
Phantasm records was started back in ’93 to release a 12” 4 track EP by Mindfield, a collaboration between studio nerds Simon Carman and John Ford, who had a background of playing guitar in punk and rock ‘n’ roll bands and had, with the availability of state of the art – for the time – computer sequencers spliced with vintage analog synthesisers, moved into dance music production, and Goa travellers and early scenesters Mark Allen and Chrisbo, the dj’s responsible for the legendary Pagan parties of early ‘90’s London. The idea was to produce and release an EP of tracks that reflected the idealism and energy of the almost unknown proto psychedelic party scene, which was musically fuelled by a mixture of all kinds of styles of techno and trance as played at the beach parties in Goa and Thailand and brought back to civilisation on mix tapes carried by globe trotting trance travellers.
The short version of a very, very long story is that the record was released and in a very short space of time, advertised purely by word of mouth, sold out of its run of 1000 copies. Inspired by this seemingly impossible achievement, Simon & John decided to continue releasing 12”’s and CD’s to showcase the exciting new sounds and artists that were emerging into this tiny, infinitely groovy scene. Mark Allen left to concentrate on his new party project Return To The Source, soon to be the figurehead of this fantastic period of history and Chrisbo went on to join ethno- ambient pathfinders Medicine Drum. They had their own fish to fry. In the hands of John & Simon, between ’94 and ’98 Phantasm released a superb cross section of music both full on and ambient, but all firmly what was now being called Psychedelic Trance. Some of the artists & dj’s represented in these releases included Hallucinogen, Man With No Name, The Green Nuns of the Revolution, Art of Trance, Union Jack, Goa Gil, Tsuyoshi, Manmademan, X-Dream etc.. etc.. As well as licensing tracks to many, many Goa/Psytrance compilations around the world Phantasm also released top notch compilations of their own, including the classic Fill Your Head With Phantasm series and the much respected Surrender To The Vibe Ambient sets.
Tragically, in May ’98 much loved Simon succumbed to leukemia, leaving John to develop the label alone.
Since then, John Phantasm has played at numerous psytrance parties and festivals across the globe in Israel, Japan, Brazil, Thailand, Taiwan, Germany, Spain, France, Belgium, Greece, Cyprus, Hungary, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, Russia, Switzerland, Portugal, Holland, all across UK of course, inc Scotland and Ireland, Canada and the USA, most notably in New York, Philly, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
John jr. (Junya) has successfully followed the footsteps of his father, first as a DJ (since the age of 13), rapidly moving into production, developing his world famous ESKIMO brand
