i get fresh news for the festival, first excuse my english , is a little bit poor,
Yesterday there was a meeting with the french autority, they stayed on their position, they thought that 30 000 peoples will coming, they are already in the castle place.
But orejona don 't want canceld the festival and for the hour is not canceled, it s going to be hard; other place are ready to receive the party and i ll come back soon on this forum to give you some other fresh news when things are going to be confirmed

Hi everybody, be welcomed in the french house with its Orejona festival that will absolutely & surely take place in the area of "Médoc" near Bordeaux according to plan!
...but it will not be in Fort Cussac because of the politics in france that are a bit reactionnary towards our trance events :-(
All the line-up and services expected will be provided all the same, and that is a great new, because nowadays in our country it becomes very hard to organize such a beautiful party.
The french authorities have politically obliged the organizer's team to not make the orejona party in cussac Fort, but in an other place.
I can't tell you the exact place from now, just that it's not far at all from the place it was supposed to be. Some more information completely clear to come from Bordeaux to the party will be aded there in few days.
What to know is that the Orejona festival will happen for sure from the 15 to the 18 of august 2002, spread the word ! ! !
...because now we need solidarity to tell everybody that the rumour of the cancellation of orejona has no reason to be any more, it was a rumour.
The party will take place and you should all come ! ! By train, by bus, by plane why not ? come and taste the french scent.

I can't restrain me from shhhhooooooouuuuuuuttttttttiiiinnnnnnnnnnngggg my joy now because all is really and completely fine with the happening of the Orejona Festival in médoc - France -
Some trance world citizens are afraid to come because of the rumor of cancellation, but it has really no reason to be any more, all the happening of the 4 complete days of festival will be on COMPLETE LEGAL CONDITIONS as long as it will not take place in the Fort Cussac...
The french authorities did it on purpose to make problems with the place 10 days before the event, but the organizers removed in themself a lot of motivation, ideas and patience to obtain the allowance to do it in the new place that put everything in order !
The Orejona team really prepared for us a great trance event, all the artists previously listed are still confirmed, except Alien Project, and I'm very sorry to tell it.
Tomorrow morning maybe a surprise will become real, some new artists in the line-up, but i'll tell you its name tomorrow, because from now it's not 100% confirmed.
We hope to welcome a lot of people in Orejona Festival, the new place is roundabout 20 kms from Cussac Fort, in the end of the message i explain the way to arrive to the party...
(ssssssso if some of you want to visit the beautiful fort Cussac from XVIIème it's not far, and I'm sure the master would be delighted !)
Okay i hope to see lots of world citizen in the party, let's bring a full power energy and celebrate together Life, Love and Happiness.
If you have some children, don't be afraid to bring them with you, there will be some others trance french chidren and teens in the child's playground.
We are not hardtechno free party, we are trance.

***How to get to Orejona festival ?
The place will be a very charming orchard in the typical Médoc Style
about 40 Kms from Bordeaux
* TRAIN &BUSES = more info on http:///www.orejona.net/
--> be in Bordeaux (it's one of the 10 biggest french town, known for its marvellous wines...)
--> From the train station in Bordeaux, you'll find train & buses on the same place to get to the festival. There will be special buses going directly to the festival (key = "gare routière Bordeaux" - "gare SNCF")
--> The train that goes direction LESPARRE is less practical for you to come, because the stop is 10 kms after the party's place.
* BY ROAD =
--> you must be on the ring-road of Bordeaux, and going out from it on "sortie 7" direction LE VERDON.
--> Then you go straight away towards Le verdon direction.
You must be on the national road N.215 (have a map, better)
--> 6 kms before the little town of Lesparre on the same road, you'll see the entrance of a "village" called LIARD, the party is on the left, there will be some security people to tell you where to park your car in secure on the left.
= Be very carefull and shanti shanti on the road 
= Sortez couverts ! (plastic:-)

some people tel; me that the festival is 20:20 for the organisation ... the professional logistics ... congratulations for that coz it's reallly hard to see a good work like that ... but they tell me 0/20 for the sound ... horrible .. too ... toooo ... hard and all the time never morning set ... only crazy full on hardcore trance machine during 3 days ... so no crying people and feel strange dancefloor ... so to resume this festival for them is at 10/20.

yeah well it´s their loss although i have to say that for the most cases the music wasnt that hardcore maybe for some of the crowd it was but not for me. saturday was by far the most interesting day(night) very full on very psychedelic (gms excepted ofcourse) i think people got some surprises that night.
i´m am maybe not the best to tell about the festival as my opinions are very biased, but i´m eagerly awaiting some proper reviews.

well ulf i have to admit i fell asleep in the rain just when gms went on so i am sorry to say that i missed your set, but it was anything as fat as it was in aarhus then i would definately say you put the rock back in rock`n`roll.

i know Anakis. It's a french dj's.
But i have some doubt from this capacity.
he say the sound his no good but i think the organizer choose one of the better sound .
It's the multidiff sound with the D&B system.

I know just the feeling.. I had a problem to stay awake as they played aswell....
