Hey Im posting this here cuz i feel its relevant for this forum.
A party was recently busted in Mumbai (Bombay). Lot of drugs were found and some got arrested including Technodrome,the artist playing. The media and police claim (rather the media backing up the police) that he is a drug dealer. This is obviously bullshit. Technodrome IS STILL IN JAIL IN INDIA.

The party was full of the sons and daughters of powerful people, the police needed someone to put the blame on, unfortunately that person was technodrome. We need to fight against this media bullshit! The Indian media has made a big fuckin deal about this bust, especially since some celebs kids were at the party. The media just reports whatever bullshit the Indian cops make up and they dont even bother to check if its true or not.

yes it has become dangerous for intl psy artists to play at an event that is not strictly underground in India. it really has a lot to do with media, they keep sensationalizing it. i hope that we can get the message across to these thick headed, idiotic journalists and law enforcement that this is a valid genre of music and deserves to be treated like one. I hope technodrome gets some justice in the courts because i know he's not related to the drugs found at the party. Why the fuck would a major int'l artist be selling drugs, such bullshit charges! all the best to him |
