free eq supposed to sound good

bought this one..it s really good. just the interface and the limited bands are a issu for me to be my one and only go to eq sadly.
back to making some sounds ,yesterday got ssl x saturator and vavle comp, both ok, not mind blowing but for the price.., can recommend you check these guys it s on the good quality of plugins..still hear thing i don t with analog when pushed so a bit spectical but with some fx on top it should be ok 
gonna check ubk pusher too..then i should be sorted for algo saturation with sdrr ,reelbus and soundtoys stuff  , x saturator won my shoutout of yesterday btw..better than sdrr and decap and ubk1 on the material i used and in no time..but all are decent..sdr is better than i thought but really need carefull tweaking and it take time.. while x saturator is all sweet spot..need to try saturn too.. |

would be asweome they give a try to saturation next, a plugin dedicated to tube /transformers path emu , or a inductor eq..somethign that can really color the signal |

Will get the Eq and probably the compressor as well, when it's ready: been using the II version a lot for mastering, multiple passages of it, to gently bring down the peaks and I really dig the sound of it - more like, I really dig that it's almost unnoticeable. The cpu load alone is enough to tell people this is aimed for mastering, way to much for a go-to mix everything compressor...
Is there a demo for that SSL plug-in you mention PoM?

Yeah, very clever direction this guy's taking if you ask me... Kind of humble guy to (it seems), but the concepts are plain gorgeous!
Won't get the EQ now, 'cause I've forced myself to make a real break this year. But will soon, coming Sept. |

i used more the ge edition and it s  love it.. the hp i think i have more transparent options in the low ,need to do some testing after holidays.
the comp is great on lot of stuff, beeing on bassline, on drums..it may be tricky to set up but once you hit the sweet spot it s as good or better than lot of expensive stuff..acutally it always won my shoutouts but i have compared it just a few times

i use the usb key but maybe with software it s possible ,probably i guess...dunno
what i like with these plug is that it s possible to get great result in no time..perfect when composing.. both seems make the sound that pass thougth them kinda in your face caractere i like that too.
the channel strip is great too i sold it ,miss it ..
about the tdr eq i really enjoy it, just one band missing in the mids maybe ...but its well worth the cash ! |
