hm.. i dont think its possible to make any enjoyable music on drugs with modern complicated, complex software like reason, cubase..
like try to work with tons of knobs and concentrate on what u r doing - not on flying hamsters around you )

dunno about the rest, i make all my music in "silver" state of mind,
but i cut not decent parts of track and i add\remove breaks in that *special* state of mind.
It easier for me to build the correct structure of the track when im stoned
not talking about heavy drugs - never tried those.

I get the inspiration for my music while stoned on Himilayan Gold, but to actually create the music, i gotta be crystal clear...

although i'd guess that the "gay texans" make their music "under the influence"...           MiniMAL cabron...

i always make music stoned. in fact i´m always stoned come to think of it. i wouldn´t think of getting anywhere near a computer without smoking.if i didn´t the pc wouldn´t last long.
as for other substances i have found mushrooms to be quite enjoyable to make music on, but most of the time i have just ended up fiddling with a 2 bar loop all night not getting anything done, so for the most part smoking is more than enough for me.

no ways man! mushrooms alter your perception of certain frequencies! your highs become lows and your lows become highs, everything sounds great during but after its actually quite horrid.

it depends on who you are and how well you know your stuff i guess, but for me it´s no problem. after your trip you can start sorting out what can be used or not. coincidental spontaneous
things happens more than often when in an altered state.such sessions might just prove to be what is needed sometimes to gain a different and more intuitive perspective on making psychedelic trance.

Every time me and tom anteater meet to write tunes we get hammered on bavarian weiss-bier.

Dunno if it helps us or not, but it is a ritual:)

When I am writing tunes by myself I am always silver (new word for me). I was thinking of trying 'other methods' but I bet it'd sound great at the time and shit when you silvered up.

when i came back form work and take a litlle
smoke before starting the sequencer it just
feel fantastic... how could it be wrong?

only too much of it makes u unsure..
and to be unsure is a bad thing for a producer!

I prefer a Clear mind while Composing. as so many others mentioned here, Drugs, while Enhancing the Experience for the moment being, may hinder the way some sounds play. some people work better under the influence, however, but some don't. it's individual.           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. Never use drugs, but maybe a new experience to do it for a new track.
