I dunno.. when i was a kid, i bought hockey cards, not because i though they would gain value and make me profit, but because i enjoy opening up a pack to see what was inside...
I really don't understand how "collectors" think.. all this talk about money is giving me a headacke !!!
A guy i know sold a Ticon EP for 150$'s.. the buyer must be completly insane or really always wanted that vinyle.. but i don't know who is dumber, the seller (the one ripping off the consumer) or the buyer for paying such stupid amounts for something..

There are collectors in every region, country, and continent. People collect everything, from Barbie dolls to crystals, guns, unreleased tracks, furniture, bottle caps, books, paintings, whatever.. it's just what people do, it makes them happy. I don't really get it either - I have plenty of rare vinyls, and I've played most of them out, that's why I got them in the first place. But come on, there's no need to knock on other people just because you don't understand something they do...
