CD1

1. Autotune - Strips & Strings
2. Evers B. - Get Ready
3. Alter Ego - Rocker
4. Steven Renes - Fine Beat (remix)
5. Steve Bug & Dj T - Monsterbaze
6. Autotune - Bladerunner
7. Electric Tease - Tear it up
8. Simian vs. Justice - Never be Alone
9. Baggy Bukaddor - V.I.P. (fischbeck's break mix)
10. Luciano & Quenum

Well, what to say besides INOVATION.. This release combines progressive music, techno, electro and breaks all in one.

Strips and Strings starts off the compilation really well, with some soft progressive sounds. A very light and bouncy bassline. Its more towards progressive trance than electro.

Get Ready starts off with a techy loopy feel, only to progress into an electric guitar leaded track. I'd say its rodeo music.. hehehe. Very little electro sounds used, but some nice synth pads.

Ahh yeah, get ready for your Alter Ego. This track is one of the best off the album. Its perfect structure and dirty electro feel makes this one of the tops. The bassline is the sound of a dirty synth, all the sounds have dirty and dark feels to them. It really gets you ready for the peak of the track, teasing the listeners with parts of the sounds used durring the peaks. If wizzy noise would make slow electro music, this would be his track..

Fine Beat is my fav from this album (from a dj's point of view).. Its a high paced techtrance track.. well, lets say techno insted. Its simple sounds and structure do the right job on a dance floor. Very groovy bassline for a techno track as well.

Monsterbaze is an electro break track. Its electro. those glitchy electro sounds, a nice synth pad, phat bass and more electro.. hehe

Autotune strikes again with another Monstor track. Techno hat sounds, bouncy bass and an electro feel to it. Nice orchestra sounds fill give this track a classical feel to it.. I would have called this track classical mushroom

Tear it up is a low toned electo snyth based track that will surly please all the electro whores at parties hahaha... Nice use of the sample "tear it up" and nice manipulation of sounds. Not like glitchy at all, more of a morning feel to it. A deep track. Very funny sample in the breakdown also.. ehehehe

Never be Alone is the second electro break track to be found on this compilation. Not as good as the first.. abussive vocal use in this one, and all in all just doesn't get me shaking. Typical Casio piano sounds make for a pretty boring tune.. sorry..

V.I.P is yet another break track, only this one is for real. Almost sounds like some Anthoney Rother with an English speaking narrator voice behind the dirty synth melody. This track has everything an electro track should. Very interesting.. Its like listening to a story at the same time. ohh wait, he is telling a story.. HA.

Orange Mistake reminds me of a Midi Miliz bassline as it first gets going, but after a couple of 64 bars go by, and that nothing really happens, you tend to appreciate midi miliz alot more.. lol.. so yeah, this one takes forever to get somewhere, and basically just sounds like a bunch of sounds thrown together.. there is some harmony in them, but nothing dramatic.. Its that other boring song on the album.

All in all, if your up for some new discouveries, this album is for you. If being an Electro Bitch is your style, then this album is for you. If you like full-on, don't even come near this, or at least not with the hopes in finding some hidden GMS track lol..

8/10 is what it deserves.. i took two points off for those two bad tracks..

Ohh yeah, and that mixed CD by Yaniv is a MAJOR plus to the album.. Mixing technical skills are shabby, but its fun to have something that "flows", or something like that.. There was one real good mix. can't recall which one. There are a couple of bonus tracks on this as well (one's that arent on the other CD)..

enjoy

been playing a few of these a lot.. great bass sounds in monsterbaze, the first track is also very sweet and electric tease, as others have commented, is wicked. not sure i can deal with the offensive dude in the vip tune but that is probably just me..

nice one hadshot for bringing smthing different to this scene!           >>love will tear us apart...<<

Well maybe i don't understand perfectly everything.. But I used to believe that the spoken words are ironic about the Very Important People thing that one can witness at some places.. And therefore I'm enjoying them !

But i might be wrong lol..

Anyways this remix seems to be very tasty in its phatness !

Ordered tomorrow !           .

Can't grasp this music as it seems. Most of the songs irritate the hell out of me, and I can't be bothered listening to this cd. If you're into experimental stuff you should get it. Otherwise, steer well clear of this one.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

I will add that that especially love the sadic touch of the rhythmics with these teasing hihats.. Same goes for the bassline that you describe as light, but it has something mad in it that attracts me a lot. However this kind of wave that comes here and there in the track isn't my cup of tea.. Having said that, the whole remains very good yes..

Hehehe this track is very well made indeed.. Because it is much more than a simple beat added to the original song (7 Nation Army by White Stripes).. There are some true works on its building, and the energy is intense. However the "Get Ready" vocoder-sample, imho is not bringing anything in this track, they could have skipped it.. The bass is huge, the track is nice, yes.

I'm with you.. excepts about the refrain I'm not that fond of. But, each time it stops, the beat is so much booyaka, that this tracks remains something huge. To be thought about twice before playing (imho).. It can blasts everything if you think the crowd is receptive..

Nicely described, great energy in this one.. not too dense but enough to get the people (me especially) crazy. Intense !

Elektro is definitaly the answer, on a dancefloOr.. This one is special as it makes me think about my early nights in the german techno-scene, when I was staring smugly at the girls wriggling on these specific beats.. Plus this one is as clown says nicely built up.

Strange atmosphere somehow in this one. It could fit perfectly, for the people who know him, in a Neil Landstrümm dj-set.. Impressive works on the rhythmics.

Agreed agreed agreed.. Continuous progression in Tear It Up, nice development, excellent combined synth wave (one as bassline, one as melody) in a 8 beat structure (I may express myself badly here, however this structure I'm dealing with is very very effective when well made..).. The relaunch after the breakdown is huge.. The track is also !

I understand it can sound boring.. But imho placed in a "very-end-of-the-party" schedule it can be very funny.. The kitsch atmosphere "I love everybody" and these cheezy lyrics sung by an annoying voice make this one very funny in you're in the good mood for it.

And what a track !! This one is fueled by nitro and the deejay who is spinning it expects pure crazyness on the floOr ! avalanche of filtered hihats falling on a huge big ba da boom funkey beat.. Terribly danceable.. Tom here mentions offensive lyrics.. Hmm maybe I'm wrong because I don't understand of all them.. but this voice (is it an 'opened' man or a several-years-partying-smoking-30-cigarettes-a-night lady ? Up to you..) telling its party, and showing up as hell is very funny when i hear it..

My big one nowadays !

With you also.. It never takes off completely.. Sad thing because the work on rhythmics is huge. I think a very good deejay can however have much fun if he is able to add some stuff on this track.

Same same here

And maybe the good mix you're dealing with is the tracks 4-5-6 transition.. Indeed he uses "LoOp C4" (track 05) for about a minute to introduce the "Punked" (track 06) which is a MONSTRUOUS elektro track.. The stamp "Dirty" is here especially for this one imho.. Great great energy, I like it.

Oh god, yaniv, i really like your new style and all that, but why oh why are you quoting Thee-ooo?

ahhhhh hes the worst Dj in the whole entire world. Hes the king of all candyravers, the cheesemaster, the undisputed assmaster. I used to live in Los Angeles, and everyone there knows he sucks. Back in 2000 he played ATB "Til I come" and "You are better off alone"in every set.

If i eversaw THee-oo liked a CD, i would not touch it with a 10 ft. pole.

So my advice, do NOT put THee-oo in your promotional texts, dont even mention he listens to your CD. Its like saying Scooter really likes my stuff.

Sorry for my emotional outburst, but i just really wanted to let you know how much THee-ooo sucks, and it would be a shame to associate your really cool label with the worst DJ in the world.           Check out my album: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/gay-satanic-hippie-tiefenrausch

weird, last night there was a post from yaniv here, quoting more or less famous djs what they thought about this release, hence my post above. now it seems kinda out of context.           Check out my album: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/gay-satanic-hippie-tiefenrausch
