Any problems with integration, latency or audio rec?
I m coming from Ableton but midi is weak in it and audio not that great..so I m looking to make the switch.

No problem, lately I have been using my moog sub phatty a lot for leads and fx, any delay can be easily compensated for in the track you play the recorded audio back in by delaying or in this case predelaying the channel, the sub phatty editor does what I need it to do...

As to why not changing for a "real" program", I love FL Studios workflow, it's midi capabilities and the program very much suits my workflow, furthermore since version 11.02 you have a live mode, which I actually use for my live sets at parties, works like a charm with win 7!

I have worked with logic a long time ago and always hated the interface just like you... for production I still use FL Studio9.04... No one has ever complained about the sound quality... And then there are the lifetime free updates, which are pretty darn cool, cooler than Cubase or Logic or the other "real programs" out there...

I have not at all checked out bitwig yet, but people seem to like it... looking forward to hearing what it's all about...

Dunno what you mean, the part of lifetime updates or the fact that Logic and Cubase make you pay everytime??

maybe the updates are so bad, that they are afraid of charging for it

FL with hardware equals some delay but not more then any other daw, however, I dont like using it for external sequensing any more. When going hardware i like to program outsida any daw, in a RS7000, that is midi as i was ment to be^^
When done, i record in any old daw and voila.
FL is sadly under rated, wich is to blame for all bashing bout it being a toy.
Its not a toy and its a great DAW when ur only using VSTis and such.           http://www.beatport.com/release/the-awakening/1180641
