this plug make me wonder how good is probably the ubk fatso...it s not a emulation but i think it does similar thing.. fatso is really good at thickening and removing the digital edge of sounds..and this plug do it already in good way ,it lack that little something to be really convaincing like hardware... like he mentionned on gearstulz, it wont replace any racks in his studio.. but what a great tool it just make everyhting you run into it sound better.. (used mostly on drum for now and there it really shine..drum bus too.. master bus too..)
it s great to put stuff in front and cut in the mix effortless too.. the ubk fatso must be really good ! a friend had a El fasto and i enjoyed it, but i think these compression curve would work much much better, on the plug i always find one well suited for the source and it such a breeze to set up on parrallel with the saturation |
