I was just thinking and remembering of

MFG
Total eclipse
Electric Universe
Kox-Box
Biodegradable
Chi-Ad
Cydonia
Sandman
Eat static
Man with no name
Miditation
Transwave
Hallucinogen
Astral Projection

And I got nostalgic, I thought about my first parties when we still played with vynils, how I got fired from my job because I refused to put the volume down, and about thousands of talks about spirituality, cosmic energy, astral planes, etc, that were inspired by this music, about the love the light and the vibe that changed me and my life forever because of the most Amazing music on earth!! (imho)

Don't you feel nostalgic at times?

I just love Nolstalgy!
Those artists you've mentioned, are the top top of the toppest around the globe. And they'll always be.

In terms od Music (everykind) and Films (especially this one) I'm into old and classic stuff.
Sometimes my VCR even jams because of the ammount of dust from the tapes I play into it.

PS: Don't forget Etnica, The Muses Rapt and Son Kite, among many others.

I agree with you Andre, I don't believe that an era ruled over the other, but I do enjoy looking back and remembering all those great things that stayed in my heart forever

imho the only constant is change so it's good to look forward too, actually is good to listen and enjoy all music with an open mind regardless of the era, like you said it's good to decompress from the modern music at times.

i so agree with you, ahah. i would love to go to a party where at least 1 dj only played those full on old hits people used to love so much a few years ago           When I dance, I put myself in the DJ's hands to take me to a journey - the unconscious journey to reality

just recently i've discovered the one track that first got me into it, shakta & moonweed - micronesia. i had in on my very first goamixtape (lost it long ago), and it was the one that totally enchanted me, the spark that set my love for goa on fire i've always been listening to old records most of the time, but now that i have this track i finally feel whole again, the cycle is closed. it totally re-ignited my love for the whole circus!           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!

Well, with all respect my friend, I guess everything in life is subjective and prone to interpretation, when you have associated feelings toward something there is a part of you that develops a strong love that is kind of blind maybe, because you don't just listen the music and judge it, it takes you back in time and makes you relive those experiences you had back then.

But I agree with you in something, it's of no use to stick in the past because change is the only constant, however that past made possible the present and if you are able to take the best from it you can create a brighter future.

all this spirit and vibe is lost along with this generation..the same scenario has played a lot of times on this planet..remember rock generation in 70's,metal generation in 80's..things are in motion and we keep getting older every day..

youngsters now perceive things in different ways that we did in 90's so music and vibe has changed..no matter what we love psychedelic one way or another and still there are several good tunes that can launch us to hyperspace

peace~           one toke over the line sweet jesus :>

Got ur point, i know this from other music styles i was used to listen years ago - it brings back the feelings of that time.

I am connected to psy since maybe ten years, so can't tell much about the real oldies. But when i listen to them (keep in mind it is then the first time) i don't like them that much.

Anyway i understand what u mean

Peace

Sorry mate, but I have to ask: If you say you don`t like any of these projects, how come you`ve been in psytrance for ten years? I`m just curious, what kind of psytrance you listened to back then? How come you stayed in psytrance when you don`t like the dominant acts of those old times? And most of all, what kind of trance you like these days?

peace
