I totally agree with Gilad Rafeal.. it makes it slower to get to the main sections of the forum...
ps. especially for users with a slower internet connection
....good fudge comes on slow!!! |

its nice to see systems get updated
but the 56K users will suffer more
IMO there are too many stages before reaching the place i want to go - example Djs & Artists
i think you should consider different arrangment of sections

well, the idea is good, but it's still a bit messy.
People, this is how a main-page for a forum should look like. it just needs some more work.

Sputer, a forum main page is supposed to centeralize every subject as concisly as possible. too many topics cause it to go awry. i think it's a good change, but i think shivas should have worked on it a bit more before launching it, but as we all know, shivas is a busy, busy man. bear with it peeps. you liked the old forum, you liked the new one, you'll like the newer one too

one suggestion though, shivas. the forum header, where you have that newsflash applet, should be at least 4-5 lines thinner. it's way too wide, causing some confusion.

The new forum is very nice.
Only one problem though.It has become impossible for me to browse the forum in the morning time when many users are online,i have 56k connection and i can only visit and post the forum during the night.
Its ok for me but think about other users that are not online 4 o clock in the morning.
