I believe in Choice.. life is what you want it to be, regardless of MTV 
If you choose to be influenced by things, its your choice..
People can live life in many forms and ways.. You don't nessisarly need to drive expensive cars so others will think you are a somebody in life, and you don't need to wear expensive clothes to attract hot girls.. (although, ironically it does help in some cases) We don't need to eat half as much as we DO to survive.. Its all matters of choice.. Therefor, there is no Faith if you think short term, but it will catch up in the end .. = Death or an end result.
Our beliefs or attitudes are also based on choices..
at least, that's what i choose to believe.

Hi I don’t think I play any role anywhere... and I am not trying to be a different person, and that is not the issue here anyways,
If there is just chaos and order, then in my situation this "hidden" order is faith ... otherwise it doesn’t make any sense, there is got to be more to it then just events and things happened. There has to be some other informational exchange btw events and people and things, than I see
I think I agree the most with DepplyDisturbed

Firstly, about synchronicities:
(the example I normally give) Imagine santa clause wants to give you a special message.. He starts making number 23's appear everywhere for you.. He inserts 23 when you look at a car's license plate, on the prices of things you want to buy, etc... Imagine he inserts 50 times the number of 23 in your path per day... Now, imagine you saw the 50 23's, but towards the end of the day, you go home, and as a coincidence, your mom had watched tv before on channel 23, so when you turn on tv, it's on channel 23.. now this time it was not santa claus, but you will still be: 'Holy shit, one more 23!! What a synchronicity '
So what I mean by this, is that even if there is a 'hidden meaning' behind your synchronicities, you must have a foot backwards, and be careful not to be overly enthusiastic, as it may ALSO be simply a coincidence
My interpretations for synchronicities (and all these events that seem to be connected, all these weird kaleydoscopic things) is either, or both of these: 1st - The universe is all one somehow, there are hidden subtle connections in the most unrelated things
2nd - 'The prover proves what the thinker thinks' , so your mind is like a filter, and whatever reality belief you have, you will filter information accordingly so that it fits with your beliefs (e.g. you believe in something, your mind will unconsciously look for a proof that you are right)
Btw, yeah, my life is full of these weird things.. But like I said, I always have a 'foot behind', a skeptic-self amongst all my other selfs, that really questions EVERYTHING, even the things you consider to be for sure true... I guess it is somehow healthy to have a skeptic-self in there somewhere =) |

now, the other question.. Do we have choice, or is it all pre-destined?
I believe, first of all, there is a certain amount of both.. They are not mutually exclusive, they CAN live together.. It's just accept the duality as a unity in a deeper level.. Just like the ancient chinese came to tell us about Yin Yang, that neither is better or more right than the other, and that both are together somehow, even if they seem totally contradictive..
Secondly: Appart from that, I believe many times we think we have a choice in certain times, when it is in fact just a conditioned/robotic response to certain internal/external stimulus.. Like, let's say that you just see some friends of your mom who dont see you for a long time.. They meet you, and they say: Wow, how big you got, you're a grown man now..
now, in they're opinion, it was their choice to say that.. But in fact it was just Situation X calling forward Personality X, and they acted the way the acted because it is a conditioned response.. Every time something like this happens, they will react the same way, even if they think it was their choice..
So I believe in practicing, in exercising AND stretching our mental, emotional and bodily aspects, so that we gain more control than we normally have, and gain a bigger REAL free-will, instead of robotic behaviour that for the robot SEEMS real and free-will
now how this exercising/stretching in those senses happen, it's a long thing and I cant say now because Im going to eat... hehehe |
