yeS..that is my Country..in these years going be better with last presidnet..he was good man ..i didnt see a "Mullah" like him...now isnt good politic atmosphere on my country..fucking presidnet with cheatin elected ....! he was terrorist like my government ..but iranian people dont like teror & terrorist and like this work...my english is not good to say all about my country and..why foreigner music is illegal in my country ..but we are free to listen any music underground if isnt loud and ur neighbour dont report ur loud listening music in police u can enjoy that..sorry about my english , iranian like american people even american governer..i heard last year from someone..they like american forces come in to my country and giving us freedom..we have freedom but its limited..i like israel and pple from israel..we cant do that from own country ..they will kill all of our family....iranian channel tv..just show what they want..tv and newspaper havent freedom for saying realize..always saying lies or dont say anything about accident and news..yes if u listening to music loudly in ur car..if police are near ur car or they see you ..they can get from you amerce..money or jail , more thing is illegalin my country like realtionship with boys and girls together before marring together, love , sex , drugs , liquids , music , parties , and etcbut all of people of iran doing that in underground ..i just wana say We Are not Terrorist like taliban and some arabs country that living near of gulf of fars..We are persian and not arabS...i cant continue this conversation with my bad english..because probably thinking mistake about my word .....respect to alll ..Peace & freedom |

i think this is ridiculous...i mean, its just music, notin vulgar, notin opposing, it dosent even have words that can be considered an offense of any sort!
well, i can understand there being no access to psytrance or a ban on loudspeaker s n blowing music in a car n stuff....but buying cds being illegal is surely not acceptable in the 21st century!(its NOT porn)
imo people who have a keen intrest(if there are any) in iran should bring this up with a local newspaper and make everyone aware of the situation. if there are any social activist groups or non government org's help should be taken. would free a lot of minds.
there is no harm what so ever to any one be it human or not in listenin to any form of electronic music, so the 'law' needs to be amended here...!

Psysacred its really sad and unecceptable not to have the freedom to listen and dance to trance in your country but at the same time dont have the illusions that american forces will come to your country and give you freedom,they ll rather come to kill ,torture and steal your oil,,,,,ask the saudis or the pakistanis if they re allowed to listen or dance to trance.

the UAE has v higggh tolerance levels..!!
so, u got everything here till a limit..!
u got clubs left , right and centre..but till 3 am ONLY!
music stops!
although , ppl. say PVD went on till 0330!
ppl. think we're riding camels here...! but its v different..and most of Gulf/Arab states have more freedom than u think..

dude...they re allowed to listen to any form of music they want. n there are no restrictions on buying psy/electronica cds online! i dunno bout the dance' thingi, i dont think there r any parties happenin there at the moment.

I heard psytrance is also illegal in Cuba. They tried to make more than a two or three people dancing to electronic music illegal in the UK years back (must not have worked so well hehe). In the USA they tried arresting people for havinging glowsticks, calling them "drug paraphanalia". Im sure that there are a lot of governments would like to ban psytrance outright, but can't thanks to the fact of constitutions with free spech garuntees. Instead they just harass gatherings.

hmmm....reading all these postes...i think the only reason for banning electronica or making it illegal would be Drugs. coz the truth is it has always been associated with drugs, wether it be psy or any other form of Electro.
a lot of places rock music is kinda kept underground coz of all the antichrist n gothic shit!

i didnt know, that the evil war lords now even infiltrate our scene to generate a pro-war-atmosphere.
maybe they need more support because they dont get it in other ways..
the media-reports about murdered homosexuals, maltreated women and the rising atom-threat lose their impact.
so, i think, the missing acceptance for trance isnt the smallest problem of this country and first, there must happen something else (except starting wars)

Guys...in iran alll foreigner music is illegal u cant find in stores original cd..if u want buy any foreigner music u should try to net or buy it from stores or person undergroundly...Tv channel in iran most of news are lie or change to what they want...or they dont tell about fucking work that my governer did it...i was talking last night with my friends police got him with his friends with his cars..they dont have any drugs ..but police put into his car pack of Cross = Grass (65 gr ) ..police bring them into jail for 1 night ..my fiend told me ..in police section he saw full off boys and grils that police get them into the night party....well..back to the right passage..police bring my friend and his firends into judicatory..he told me in judicatory's wc ..securites sellling drugs in wc  !..and one of that securites told to my friend give me money i can fix ur problem here i have friend in judicatory section...and my friend and his friends ..told to them parents and get from them money and given to that securites..that money was 700-800 dolllars ( in iran 600,000 Tooman )..and that security change grass pack to some branch of grass ..and judicatory get them free..!!!!!! yes in iran higher person allways are cheating and get from u money or fucked them and tell to them shutt up if u speaking more we can fuck ur life..music isnt a problem in my country..these anti judge work is problem.. |

well i wanna make one thing clear, and i guess Psyscared agrees with me, is that Islam got nothing to do with this.. i mean Islam is not a political regime, but Iran, and many other countries use it as a mean to control people, they use it as a reference to scare people and give a legitimiate right to the authority. Of course you re not a terrorist, nor are the arabs, because terrorism is an individual act, and should related to a race, or a religion. I truly feel sorry for the young people living in Iran, and i guess it gives us the chance to appreciate some of what we have.
