All in all, let say the opinions on the french forum among people who were there last winter are very contrasted. Meaning to me the festival was somehow not that perfect...
But that doesn't mean the Sindar team will not learn from last year and improve their event.
Beside, quite a few people are "complaining" about the cold. And it's true it's cold all over Europe in winter. No big wonder here....
So I guess an extra blanket could definitly help enjoy the party...

Existente Dance Festival has been CANCELLED.
We want to apologize for all those people that were implied and trusted in this project, as well as those that already planed to come.
The only reason of the cancellation is the lack of presales.
At the moment, only 70 presales tickets have been sold. Last year, at this point, 600 tickets were sold and on the 1st December 2006 we closed the presale period with 1000 etickets sold. The organization has valued the situation and considers very risky to continue forward with a festival that needs 3200 persons to cover expenses. So we have taken the decision to cancel it.
All the persons who bought presales tickets in an ambassador can return them in this one itself where the money of the entry will be reimbursed.
And etickets already are being reimbursed by system Pay Pal, so you’ll receive the money back in your visas in a few days. If you send us your address and the code of receipt we will send you the CD compilation of Existence Dance Festival when this one will be edited.
And for all that you have already bought plane tickets and still want take advantage of the trip, the organization is trying to organise aparty in Barcelona with some of the artists who appear in the line up. We’ll inform you about that very soon.

lineup was very very promessing ... hope there will be another existence in 2008...
i think because of this summers fu*kups with cancellations and police violence people are more careful with buying presale tickets in general...

great pity... it was one of the best line-ups so far...
but yes, i think the main reason for only 70 presales is the bad festival summer that we had... to many festivals have been cancelled...

SO sad to hear this!!! we had all booked our flights and i was about to buy my presale. there was a group of 15 of us coming to this.
its understandable though, and i hope the organisers didnt lose too much money over this. good luck for 2008! that really was my dream lineup.
oh well, guess its off to portugal then! anyone know details about this other NYE party?

Have a wicked time in Barcelona (won't be able to go anywhere this year as I'm going travelling for a year, so saving saving...) and see you sometime somewhere around

Very Sad, in deed...
But, what a preventive decision, this one...coz in the end of the day, there are still 2 month's before the event, and in that period... some thing's could change.
Well, not everybody have what is needed to beleive in a project, so...no festival.
What a team...............................
