for those who used eventide stuff how do you rate popular plugins in term of sound quality.
i think the strenght of eventide is to go deep inside and program crazy stuff if i m right?

just listened this demo,it answered my question above.. anyone own one or wish to add one ?

Some reverb algorithms are from the 8000 and the rest are the 3000, apparently. In any case these algos are good enough for me.
Had an Eventide Eclipse for a couple of years, although I think the Lexicon PCM was slightly better for reverbs, the Eventide was head and shoulders the best effects unit I ever had/used. It was almost the most expensive.

Peace out.

I used to own an H8000FW, it's not easy to program but once you get the hang of it, software comes nowhere close.           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic

but with eventide it s not the same, some of their algos are old it wont be a problem for today compuuter to run them i guess, ported to native wihtout compromise or in a hardware digital box should sound close if it s well done
