OK so i 've got a chance to take sc205 (2-way, 5") home and listened to them for 2 days. Despite anything, i liked them, a lot.
First thing that made me smile was the low end. For such small monitors they have really tight and informative lows. Next thing that makes you go wow is stereo field and depth - man, first time i even thought my mains are playing the same time for a second. Amazing stereo field. Next what i enjoyed were mids and highs. Highs especially - crystal clear but not sterile, very natural and in the same time soft.
Dudes, monitors rock. This exact model is amazing for entry-level or 2nd pair. Blows away Adams, KRK, Mackies, Alesis and all this budget stuff. Recommended as a must-listen-to candidate when buying monitors.

i see Adam A5x listed around $500 and SCM205 $579, so yes, a bit more expensive. But I never heard a5x; however was a working with A7 for ~1.5-2 years and i can say SCM205 despite they are smaller perform better to my ear. More balnced and highs are much more natural. Stereo field and scene depth is out of question.
