this cd has really grown up to me..
definetly the best ambient album of this year..
even better than hallucinogen in dub..           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

Well, I am really impressed how many people are actually talking about Entheogenic lately.
I find the album fascinating to say the least.
And if for traveller Entheogenic is even better than hallucinogen in dub, then I am even more impressed.
Going to re-listen to it right now......

I feel kind of insulted by Zombies comments. I own a "lot" of psy ambient and chillout CD's. I am in the scene almost since the beginning.

And I don't share at all your feelings on this one, but that's ok. Just don't talk about "the people" in general, because you are "not" the people. Don't comment on what other people should feel. I can respect your own personal view on anything, just don' tell me what people in general feel. Because I am part of this people and don't feel at all like you do.

For me Entheogenic is a wonderful inspiring album, great production, great melodies, lots of feeling.

peter - take care of your health. dont be insulted. take listen to astralasia, cosmosis, eat static and greay area old stuff and u suree will understand what im talking about.
anyway, i respect your (and your sieni) love to this cd.
i from my side for a while now got that chill music dont hae to come from trance artist or trance connected artist/label so i prefer mostly lounge or real dub for chilly moments. less psy and way more better productions and atmosphere IMO.

Just discovered this gem last week. Wonderful album. Very emotional and lovely melodies.
It has some very interesting and unique vibe about it.
Anybody looking for deep emotional psy-dreamy soundscapes will love it.

I like the mixture of classical instruments and voices with, indian stuff and psy synths.

Entheogenic on 3d vision came as a real surprise.
One of my favourite ambient albums right now.

What sets this apart from the other psyambient is probably their use of 'ayahuasca'...its not yet up to UmmaGumma psychedelica but Entheogenic are the only ones that come close to the Simon/Raja weirdness and above all deliver it in a pleasant musical package.
If they become less trancy on the next album and extend their healthy experimentation with instruments, chants and vocals we should have a very special artist among us. Not many can deliver such rich and deep compositions and that on a debut.

Emotionally and musically a great album. The vocals and instrumental melodies are beautiful. The mixture of instruments and synths works very nicely and give it a very special flavour.

As panzer said if they continue this way, a bit less trancy maybe, then they could become the next Pink Floyd phenomena.

Definitely an album worth having.
