Just when i bought the Roland Sp-555 to relieve me of depending on a Laptop for live , Elektron unvieled the octatrack ! last year argh!(just what i wanted atleast on paper).
They just started shipping since this month , there is something about swedish synth makers and its no secret Clavia and now Elektron releasing awesome hardware. The final piece of the Trinity -Octatrack retailing at around $ 1400. So anyone who has tried it out? or planning to buy , reviews?
Any yes we know that a Laptop with Ableton will deliver a similar performance if not better but the point is when you can have all in 1 box why haul a laptop+midi controller+ soundcard etc on stage atleast for me

havent checked it in details but look intresting.not sure it s really suited for psytrance, or maybe it is but could be more exploited in some other kind of electronic music from what i have seen. |
