Double Dragon (Japan - Plusquam)
Universal Language & Modulated Monkey are happy to bring you Double Dragon, the progressive psytrance guise of producer Steve Good. In 2000, Double Dragon released his first album “Continuum” on Phantasm records which was followed in 2002 by “Transparent” on Plusquam, both receiving excellent feedback from around the globe. Double Dragon has released on labels such as Spiral Trax, Iboga, Spirit Zone and Psychic Deli, and has played gigs all around the world. Steve also plays as Sativa with releases on Iboga and Flow records and as Puff Dragon, a chill side project, with releases on Iboga, Ultimae and Dakini Records.
Hired Goonz (Melb/Byron Bay - Gi’iwa Productions)
HiReD GooN$ have become household names on the Aussie trance circuit. Playing ultra funky psy sets to dance floors which are always delivered with a lot of intensity and humour. Members Neuron Compost (Reece) from nth NSW and Petalien (John) from Melbourne have been producing since pre-millenium and their similar tastes in tweaky crazy funkadelic fungus psy has brought them together for this project. Expect nothing less than to get down and dirty with these funksters.
Blue MD / Mindelight (Mex – Phonokol)
Blue MD is the solo project of Javier Calzada, best know for his work as Mindelight. Blue MD is an evolution in sound blending many electronic styles from full-on and progressive psytrance to house and dub with a strong focus on rhythm and flow. In 2003, Javier got together with Dj Eclypso to create Mindelight which has released many tracks on different labels such as AP Records, Green Ant, Earthdance Mexico/KNK, MP Records and Tip World to name a few. Mindelight’s debut Album will be released soon on Phonokol records.
