Every year the more than 300 Earthdances spread over 70 countries promote peace through dance and music, besides collecting funds to cost humanitary and enviromental causes. Since its foundation, in 1996, Earthdance International has focused on themes like “Water”, “Elder Wise” and for 2008 the global theme is “Earth”.
In São Paulo, Earthdance prepares a very special party. We want to show the crowd that the tools for attitude changes are very into our own hands. And to show public opinion the electronic music parties can product positive and real things, returning it to society.
Thus, this edition of Earthdance focus on Enviromental Consciousness.
According to Earthdance International, 50% of the profit of the party will be donated to na ONG aligned with the theme of the year. Besides that we prepared a lot of innovations on the way parties can be used to solve some of brazilian needs: reforesting of native vegetation.
Each sold ticket will cost 2 trees planted. One by Earthdance and other by Instituto Vidagua, by the website http://www.clickarvore.com.br.
Overall we want to show everyone can be an active part of it and each ticket has a power to change the world we live in.

Promotional: 500 tickets for R$ 20,00 until july 30th or end of tickets
Unique price: R$ 30,00 till the weekend of the party.
There will be no sales at door if reached the limit of 2000 people.

I know you may want to keep the exact location of the party secret for now but please give me an indication approximately where it is since I am only a tourist in Brazil and need to plan how to get there. |
