i agree with paradigm... let the drummers play, but encourage the drum circle to form at the back of the room, or if outside, by the fire.
I was at Meta I and i remember that dummy attempting to play djembe. He wasn't very bright: even tried giving me some dried amanita muscaria!

My only suggestion would be to have the drum circle oppposite to the DJ. But I would love to have a whole bunch of ppl batucando whatever their background. I would also ecourage an area just for drum circles if it is outdoors. I would love to add this dimension to a party |

i really dont see the connection here
We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home. |

yeah, it's getting off topic... but, amanita's are poisonous unless prepared correctly.
anyways, keep the drums thumping, just do it away from the dj/speakers
peace! |

Yes, please, keep the drummers away from the DJs. drummers are always ever so slightly offbeat and if it's too close, it makes for shoes in a dryer mixes.
Also I think drums are suitable for certain styles of psytrance - definitely prog and fullon, but please no drumming along with Kindzadza or Suomi..

I don’t think it matters , what style of music playing , from my experience , if the drummer is good, he can manage with kindzadza and this type of stuff also |

I find drumming makes the sound more tribal. With some of the techy and dark stuff, it doesn't complement the sound but changes it. I'd rather keep it the way the artist wanted.
my 2 cents
  ..it's just another party.. |

i find that most drummers try to take control and lead which ends up making them look terrible when the song breaks in an unpredictable way... its best when they are in tune with psytrance ....
ive had to tell many a drummer to stop cause they were wrecking the sound and the dj's monitoring.
its touchy.... outdoors though its not as big of a deal since the sound carries in every direction instead of reverberating off of walls.

Of course, when the sound cuts out then suddenly the drummers are a blessing... |
