Well yeah, why compare?
Shpongle and Downhill are absolutely different.
One thing, both albums have GREAT production.
I want to listen to Der Interpret album too )

pasha, that was a nice review, the music is complicated and you could even discuss it. Wicked ambience music and definitely trippy, i will be crying if i am stoned |

Its going pretty well for GPlus despite minimum promotion for this release,still the onliest place to get this cd on the net at the moment is to order it from www.saikosounds.com

Agree. Good album. It's nice to have that hard, dark Delta sound with a different beat. "Perfect Man" is my favorite, although there is no bad track on the album. |

Silent City sounds like a dark trip hop soundtrack of the future. Some of the tracks have a Portishead feel, but with the big digital production sound, deeeeeeep bass, eeeerie synths, distorted synth percussion.....perfectly balanced to create the mood. Alfred Hiitchcock would have used these tracks for his movies4 sure...a total killer
