wow, what could i possibly say that hasn't already been said. I felt such a warm and welcoming vibe from EVERYBODY that I encountered, including the Venue Staff (except the bartenders, they seemed to raise the price on drinks throughout the night which was shit. example, chromie says-double shots are $6. I ordered the same drink, and it was $8. The $2 Tequila sunrise special, was $3 actually, stupid stuff like that, barely a hiccup of a flaw but was kinda lame).
I have to say that its been a very long time since i've seen that many incredibly happy and ALIVE people!! Its incredible to see that many young and fresh faces just absorbing the fractal frequencies that bounced around the room, many of them having this as their first trance or even electronic event!!!! Major energy and universal information was transferred throughout.
The dancefloor started strong at 8 pm and didn't let up until well past 8 AM, we packed up about 8:30.
I have to say that all of the music was excellent, everybody played incredibly smooth and dare i say quite flawless. Plus, the flow that MOS provided by placing the artists in their proverbial hot-slot, really worked well as the energy flowed perfectly.
If anybody recorded the sets, please share them cause there were many many magical moments of tranced out bliss.
Did anybody else catch Chromie's Morphonix set in the back room? daaaaaamn, that was some of the best breaks this side of tipper and the UK Nu-Skool scene. The main difference though was that it had lawrence's shine on it as well as very trancey stabs thrown in the mix with bashing big kicks and super subby basslines. Definitely took me by surprise, I can't wait to hear the full-length.
keep 'em coming guys. You got a very sick location that's only a couple blocks from a big University. The sky's the limit!!!

hidro, you should have come find me! I got a bunch of beer and liquor for the artists around 1am... they took the jager at 2 as someone was being to obvious with it, but there was still good ol keystone light as long as you drank it behind the tapestries

we will be talking to the bar tender and owner about the rising drink prices and the expensive water. i think they are being a bit greedy, and if we explain to him the situation, i feel we can move past the drink prices. certainly upsetting to hear that water was $3 at one point, when it never exceeded $1 at our first event there.
we will correct this, so expect an even bigger and better shindig NEXT TIME!
