Doof party - busted

Hallo to you all, Sad day indid!
I would like to tell you guts how it goes from the party organization and how I see all of this. Also I would like to sher with you my personl feeling about the doof crew and the doof partys. I am not a man that like to write or talk much but this time I have to!
Making a party involved many aspects ,WHER to make it?, HOW to advertise it?
WHAT the music going to be like?, WITH police we dealing with?, HOW big the party will be? And many more other things, BUT you all have to know that the police can come any time and fuck it all!, Doof was making more then 50 parties around Israel and few outside.
This is the third time that our party got stopped .
We where waiting for 200 to 300 people at the most , and I really don’t know where all this people came from, (most of them I liked some I did not ).
The police was already at the door in 3am and told as that they going to search the people on the door but not going to stop the party!, in 5am they got in and stopped it, they said that they found to many dealers in and out of the party,(they even showed me a bag full of trips& pills)
I tried to talk with them and police officer that was there even called the chief of his police , but it was no go!!!
I AM VERY SORRY FOR US ALL!
We are going to make a free party soon,
In this days I am often thinking to myself my do I need all this , I am getting to old for this... Its all my family friends and you guys that drive me to keep on making more parties.

Hey Shahar, you guys are the only one I consider that are still doing true underground parties, with its true spirit.

BTW,
you are asking why so many ppl came?
when you hear DOOF... its defently time for DOOOOOOOF! (for me it sure is)

1 thing i must ask , since u were talking 2 the police officer .....
what is the point of stopping the party
and send 100's of tripping people out 2 the
road ...
this is actually what i keep asking myself when i see those sheriffs .... 
DONT LOOSE THE FAITH ,
i know it's hard ,
espcially in israel with the third world aditude 2
drugs ....

shahar and all the great doof crew.
how could you expect to make a 300 ppl party, after making some stunning events in the last months. you are in this scene enough time to know that the rumor is spreading out in a very short time, and few good parties in a raw bring more ond more new faces. to call the event "end of season party", to bring du serena, and to make it 30 min from tel aviv, it's a sure recipe for uncontrolled herds of ravers. talking about it on the net (like we are doing know) dosn't help to keep it very underground.
lately a lot of parties are getting busted all over israel. my personal feeling is that the organizers got to confident and too lazy. (to doof ppl: i'm talking in general here).
Ther's one way to publish a real intimate underground party: use only PERSONAL phone calls or PESONAL mails (don't use the fucken call box or "ta koli"). ther's only one way not to stand out with the location and in the way to location: make the party in a remote country side- in israel its the most difficult task.
The good thing in doof parties all those years, was this fact (that as a party organizer myself I always believed in): party label is a community of ppl. If you have a good and healthy community you have it all. You don’t need big d.j names or massive publicity. All you need is a few home grown d.js that know the job and devoted crowd. Every now and again the community should bring guest d.j as a new wood to the fire. another factor to a consistent fire are some psychoactive molecules support, but im not going to talk now here about alchemy..
All I want to say to you doof ppl is that I love the community you built .you should keep it intimate and authentic. Keep the true spirit. I know its hard.
By the way, after the party’s 5:00 o’clock fiasco, we kept on enjoying Saturdays morning after all, but hey, I promessed not to talk alchemy here, didn’t i...?!

indeed to bad for doof, when we ayahuaska have in mind some party organizers to learn from you are defenitly one of the biggest.
never mind, you learn from each event.
by the way joov, we waited for your small community to bring us in as a wood for the fire for a couple of years untill we saw we might aswell do it by ourselves.. ;-)

you are probably right, all the regular factors together with some irregular info spreading on the net by uncoutious people didn't do us good. but we're always learning.
we want to keep it old-days style and we are willing to pay the price.

that's probably a solusion, though other doof parties in "way to jerusalem" area were pretty "police safe " in the past.
maybe the specific location of that last on was wrong (too easy to reach, and quite close to the high way - while we were up the hill, only 60 metters abouve the party site we could see the no.1 highway very clear).
any ways, in this case the effort counts great deal, and a small disappoinment is not much considering the place we live at and the DOOF spirit has all the support it should have for keeping the true original vibe of what should b trance parties.

and this third world attidude is not only about this. somehow u always get the feeling in israel u are not alowed to party only to suffer. |

I've started to go to trance parties about 3 years ago. I've been to a couple parties and it was nice.
Then some friends took me to a doof party- it was great!
It was a free party in the forest near Jerusalem, and some nice guy took my email. Since then I rarely go to other parties except the doof parties.
The doof parties are in my mind the best parties in Israel and the only one I know about that really feel like an acid party. The people of the doof and the people that usually go to their parties, are the kind of people you would like to see on a very bright & dripping morning;)
So first- thank you doof, for 3 great years. Keep your spirit up. So what if the pigs busted the last party, what can you do? It's a risk you allways take when you are going to a tracne party in this lovley country of us .
But I have to say that the last party was going in the wrong direction, way before the pigs showed up. They’re where too many people and way too much unwanted faces.
The last mail you sent, is a good start in the way of making doof parties small and intense again.
Here are some ideas I've come up with, hope it could help a little.
1. Give up the ta koli.
2. Maybe you should consider contacting trance websites managers asking them to remove posts about your parties. You can even search the web for your self before parties and see if there are too many posts about your parties, you can always change the location and the phone number, or spread out wrong info on the net in purpose. (I'll be happy to help you out in this).
3. In one of your parties there where 2 girls that parked near the road and gave right direction to the right people and wrong direction to the wrong people, this is a great way to get rid of unwanted people and the pigs in the same time:)
4. Keep your hardcore trance style- In the end, music is the best selector you can find.
