Well, it was a blast!
500 great ppl digging their ass off, good energies, great weather and the music: ai ai ai!
Cactus opened with some really good psy tunes but was too early for me. we will hear about him for sure.
Double R.E.L went up at 4:00 and gave a set full of energies . these guys know how to work together and their dancing abilities worth a mention- they give a performance combining great music with a lot of enthusiasm, which really adds an excitement to the crowd. keep up with that!
UV went up after them and gave one of the best sets i heard this summer! enjoyd it very much (especially scatterbrain's mexican jesus).
then, it was Zirkin's turn and for me it was a perfect ending- he started with Entropy which i think released one of the best albums this year and carried on with bombing tunes. Powerful set that made me digg like crazy even when at this point i was dead tired. awesome set!
the sound started a bit weak but got better later, location was a beautiful spot in the desert surrounded by mountains not far from arad, not too much deco but who needs it when u r in the desert, and again,the people were beautiful.
we left at 8:00 so there is probably more to tell.

I donno I was a lil disappointed ...
Everything started good...Double R.E.L gave a nice set even tho the volume was too low (matan  )
then UV gave also a good set , Zirkin kinda slowed down everything and I felt it was too monotonic and boring so at this point I sat down ...
most of the people left early and all the xtc ppl stayed on the fancefloor (not many of them but still), I guess it's because of the heat, but doof took care of it and planted sprinklers which was great (haven't seen em this summer anywhere)
lets say it wasn't a party which made an impression on me
Maybe I shouldnt have expected much cause then I wouldn't be disappointed...anyway it was nice, the location was nice, the people were beautiful (exception in the morning) but the lineup needs some more energy

I couldn't agree more!
At the middle of the party I came over to them and told them the same!
I must say, mate... those two sure knows how to make the party alive Their music is awesome and the show that they give sure has it's own personality of D.J's.. good ones!
It was hard to leave the "dance grounds" ;-) in the middle of their set, to let them know... but it was worth it.

Was one of the one ever if you ask me, after coming back from boom I needed a good desert party, about 500 super nice ppl, cool sound, not much deco but the desert was totally enough .
Music was well played by all DJs cactus was a bit messy but tripy and nice to get into the party, double REL were very good , nice sound and very psychedelic. UV was excellent on this one! Gave uplift rocking set very good for the dance floor . ZIRKIN gave a super set got all the psychedelic ppl up and sent the other home (that 4 you Ananda604). The dance floor was full and rocking of the DOOF crowed till 12:00.
That what a party should be look like !! , thank you doof and SHANA TOVA 4 all.

that was a party like a party should look and feel like !
exelent job on that one.
location was really good, there is no place
like the desert, the road to get there was
also very friendly.
crowed was really good xpt few harmless faces.
sound was really nice, it needed alittel bit more power...
music was exactly what I expected, and the reason that I drove 4 houres to get there non stop PURE PSY music!
got there just when Double Rel took the stand, you did really good work on that set
great style those tow guys have.
UV was a smash to the dance floor, KILL them all buddy, great set!
Zirkin gave wonderfull scratchi set lots of twisted stuff , right to the face..
left around 11 with a huge smile on my face
stright to the dead sea to drink cola in the
water hehe..
thank you very much for the good party enjoyed my self from the moment that I got in till the moment I left ,
Keep it up all the Doof rec. guys and girls.

First of all I have to mention that I am not objective here, but I had such an excellent time that I have to comment.
I was standing at the entrance till around 06:30 so I don't know how it was inside. When I finally got to the party, it was to discover 500 beautiful ppl digging heavily to UV's music. UV gave a very special set, psychedelic and jumpy. Then Zirkin went up with an extra long set, building up his set slowly, with totally acid dripping sounds.
Eventhough I was dead tired and my feet were hurting from the long night at the entrance, my body couldn't stop moving to these sounds.
It was one of our strongest parties, with true acid psychedelic people.

I just wish i could have been here... It's been 1.5 year since i visited .il and if i would have had the money/opportunity at work I would have visited for sure.
I guess for now the only thing i can do is book those bastards that made you dance all night

cool cool party!
quite a long drive over to arad, but we know the area pretty well already and knew how to organize ourselves. the road over to the party on the dirt road was pretty easy to follow and i was quite happy that i didn't have to trash my car to get there.
the music was pretty good for me, and i was surprised to see so many people dancing to 140 bpm and up music for so long  even people who i know to like proggy more. guess things change. the only weird thing was with zirkin actually, he started his set pretty low bpm after such hard hitting sets, it was kind of a downer for me. luckily he built it back up pretty soon after.
people were B E A utiful! maybe not too many girls stayed in the morning, but still very nice happy faces around, and still a few nice shaking asses 
place was great (though why do you doof fellas always make desert parties? what about some greenery?)
so what can i say? i had lots and lots of fun, met some people i haven't seen in years, and refreshed my trance party enthusiasm.
good going doofers!

Had a grrrrreat time. came with my brothers children, This time I was really the DODA. too bad they wanted to leave early and they dragged me home...
Thank U Doof. The desert is the perfect place, couldn't believe how many stars there are up there. Next time I bring my car and stay till I drop. |
