Does full on psytrance still exist? or has the term "full on" taken on a different meaning, and now simply means anything that's played at peak hour?

I have been spinning psytrance for over 6 years, and want to know what trends other countries are following. Is your country mostly playing full on? or more techno-psy? or lighter and progressive?

What artists do you consider "full on" today?

In my eyes it does still exist, and the partys I go to in england are still playing mainly full-on.

Whats with everyone saying fullon sucks?? Psytrance of all types are absoulutly amazing imo.

I can understand prog and dark DJ's not liking fullon as much, but its totally worth dancing to =D

Of course it exists, and let me tell ya it aint going away any time soon,No sirrrri Bob.

Face it,Fullon will always be the most popular genre party-wise.....the faster it goes, the more hectic the energies become, and the bigger is the karahana.

Now i have seen karahana @ 135 Bpm and even lower than that(third empire parties is a good example),but that doesnt matter,Fullon is fast enough to make u stop thinking ,and just dance hard, and this is what most people are looking for(very evident in places like Japan, brazil, mexico, russia and also Israel).

ah the days when there was only NIGHT and MORNING music....were much simpler.

But was it better ?

fullon isnt crap y'all!

Its alot better than most other genres of music. I think its quite sad when people who love psytrance cant have a good ol dance to the stuff.

i can dance to full-on mate.. even gets me more excited, than say, techtrance on a dancefloor... but then, in many full-on sets, the music changes to this darker, much faster, less melodic, NOISE !!!

it goes a little something like this :

luggaluggaluggalugga *Screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttttchhhhhh*
luggaluggaluggalugga
*Scree, ti ti, chhhhhhh
luggaluggaluggalugga
whoimpinin, chhhhhh, sreeeeeee
luggaluggaluggalugga
luggaluggaluggalugga
luggaluggaluggalugga
luggaluggalugga*Shhhhh
*Crash*
luggaluggaluggalugga

or something like that.. hehehe..

(p.s. im just having some fun and actually like alot of full-on, or Wrecked Machines to be more precise)

What is Neo-Full-On again? Is that the more non-psychedelic part of Full-on? A new box inside the box?

More party, more drugs, more music. - greed.

PS. Good old Euro-Trance kicks Neo-Full-On's ass. I know both music genres are connected (think) to chemical drugs. Euro-Trance was very attached to x2c. I feel that Neo-On is more on the white powder wing. And to be frank (Can I still be Garth?), I would prefer the music made by x2c heads then music made by powder heads. Lucky for me, psychedelic trance is about natural psychedelic plants (and that synthetic thing named LSD25).

- Chemicals are bad for you. Don’t use drugs. Drink a lot of alcohol instead. Much healthier. And the music made by drunks are so much better then anything else.

bullshit i say yes theres ALOT of crap "fullon" out there but i dont consider it fullon nor trance - its boom boom boom music for kids that has nothing to do with psytrance or trance at all and the worst are skazi and paranormal attack - i mean try to give a listen to his last album and u can see its just to make booms and make kids jump... i couldnt dig to that kind of music ever! there are alot of good real fullon tracks out there now so why keep concentrating on the crap?

Full on is alive so is progressive and minimal and tech trace theres a place for everything and every genre.
It all depends where u are on the globe.
I was in a party in north australia where minimal and prog is the main thang and full on is only a side dish.
Big partyes in brazil have both strong full on acts dj's, and progresive (and somtimes electro) acts.
Im happy when theres diversity in the music in partyes it brings the next thing with it, a kind of evolution.
