Some Dark Psy does not at all produce a bad vibe it sometimes completely ruins a dancefloor, i honestly do not know how you can dance to this kind of sound which i cannot even call music. Of course not all of it but i have heard many that musically they do not make any sense at all to me, no melody no good beats no voyage just a load of sequenced samples and bla bla bla a lot of bullshit to sell the sound... I know i will be attacked a lot by my reply but i just say my opinion i do not care to lie!
And really this is not dark at all it really makes me laugh when people call it dark! hehehehehehe

I dont think that at a dark psy party is the music tha produces bad vibes,I think that bad vibes comes from the peoples minds.I beleive that listening dark psy under the influence of hallucinogenics ,dancing and trippin without melodic or sweet sounds,could only open and energise third eye without the coresponding of the heart sometimes and awake our evil demonic spirit sometimes with wild insticts.
Dark wild and demonic music could sometimes became dangerous for mind when listening in high kw sound system,ther are sounds wich could fcuk up our zen.
music is like an emotinal playground science,study the sound effect and play with emotions.
we trully mean it when we say"kill the dancefloor" for the dark dj at a party.

Nobody complained about bad vibes when Hallucinogen released his Gamma Goblins tune. One of the most evil psy tunes ever released. And i don't even mention Sandman.

stop thinking any kind of dark music brings "bad vibes".
only people who enjoy it know what it means, and i'm sure it isn't "bad vibes".
it's a state of mind, and it's not for anyone.

I think the "bad psy produces bad vibes" and "gamma goblins" guys know what they're talking about. There's nothing wrong with dark, moody psytrance, like gamma goblins, or delta's "thing". It's just this crappy style where the entire worth of the track is based on how fast it goes (just check the new tracks forum, half of them list the BPM in the title, 166 BPM KILLAH, who cares..?"). Ummm, sooo, in summary, dark, moody psytrance does not kill vibes, but crappy "darkpsy", with it's 170 BPM and random amateurish whizzing noises does. |

the problem here is not with darkpsy, but rather the understanding of what is actually good dark music and what is this psudo , crap production , high bpm , testosterone driven , "i am the hard man" bullshit!!
as pavel very rightly said , trax like gamma goblins , sandman stuff , absolum , some digital talk and more artists in this genre actually make well produced , intelligent , evoking dark psy ... as opposed to the hard 'underground species' of guys like Cosmo "i make nothing under 150 bpm squelches"! Badly produced music played by ego driven ape men , create bad vibes. Well produced music played by intelligent technicians trying to make you explore more inner feelings and supressed emotions through the dark path eventually leading into the light can really make your trance state a deep and eventually a euphoric one! thats my humble opinion. |
