Well my dear, you need to first come here in order to do that and to participate in a good rave.
Film the "before" rave , the rave itself and the "after" rave.
Filming the people involved in making it, people participating in it.

sounds like a great idea, but are all the raves in isarael legal ? and if ure going to do an in depth documentary on the rave scene, arent u going to step on some toes on drug issues and substancec issues ? im totally in the dark and dont mean to be rude, just wondering thats all ..

Great idea.
I guess though that you should wait for a big festival to come so that you can be sure that the event will be well organised and that you will get help from the promoters in order to take interviews from the artists and from themselves offcourse.I wish i could help you but all i can do is to wish you the best

My 2 cents.
I think that the underground rave(trance) scene here in Israel is the same or even bigger than the "legal" one, and may be it is a good idea to make the documentary about the UNDERGROUND scene.

if u are not Israel citizen,so how can u think to make "documentary" ?? isnt the meaning of this word is period re-showing ??
or u think to come for couple of months ??
if so, come on begining of the summer season and leave in the start of winter.
i dont know what u mean "rave scene" but i understand that u are interesting about not only trance scene.
so,come, start tgo party and bring your camera everywhere u come.
start from tel aviv clubs, make a sure u visited all the realy importent points, then go outside and check all kinds of crazy events we have.
thats all. |

You could compare the underground scene to the legal scene, for Example:
you could film some underground party, and combine it with footage of a commercial event like the "Tribal Dance Experiance"...
think about it; it would be cool if you film a split screen - on one side the commercial party, and on the other side, the underground party...
