i hope so , variation in music is always good ..... i realy respect chill producers ..... hope to hear your music too soon.

about party , from my expirience i see that 12:00-02:00 can be fit for chill but mostly no crowd on these hours ..... so i can't realy recommend you something ......

one thing i will advice try to get out of psy scene and get into worldwide chill scene (psychedelic touch can only stylize your way of music) ... in the same time you can be here and there .... like Shpongle for example

at festival chill is welcome .....

I think yes it is. while the psytrance scene is getting very minimal unique and innovating releases, I think its the exact opposite for chill. especially in the past couple of years. for example if I want to order some cd's, I'm not very decisive on ordering psytrance, but I rather choose to go with chill cd's.
also one more point, if I could go to the boom festival, if I was looking based on acts, I would not go for the main acts but ones in the chillout stage.           `Bottomless wonders spring from simple rules, which are repeated without end` Mandelbrot

From Australia it is a little bit sad and damn irritating... all we hear is endless full on sounds, it's why I haven't been t one party this year!! I love all psy, and have many cd's spanning from the beginning of goa to know, and my chill collection is very special. Not only o I like it because I believe it is much more emotional music, but it is more welcome in a bigger circle, people who do not like 4/4 music find chill very easy to enjoy, and it does not take long to connect with the music. I believe that there is going to be a psy dub/ambient and world music festival in Melbourne this summer (December/January and whilst hints of Bluetech coming have got me excited, I'd love to see some other names down here. It's a shame that at the earthcore festival with Son Kite playing there is not going to be an Ooze set, which I'd much prefer to the hint of yet another Simon Posford Shpongle/H. in Dub dj set to finish up. Chill out is welcome nay time, and the few who I know in my home town who like chill as much as me think that it deserves much more attention than the trance stage. I’m busy working with some local dj's to set up regular Sunday night chill party's, with the hopes of bringing some artists out here in the not to distant future...

it's just too bad that for example at boom they didn't bother telling who's playing @ chill out and @ what time..

well they did give out the chill out timetable for the first day @ that dragon daily thingy

the 2nd day there was only mainfloor line up

the rest..

they gave the chill line up but no play times

as with more and more full-on,i think i see more and more is the demand for chillout increasing, but its relatively less thou.in a country like india where more and more people want to listen to full-on,its gonna take a lot more time then places like australia, but atleast the awareness is rising thats a healthy sign i must say....
people want more ambient stuff to be played, other then festivals and more organisers are gettin keener to book artists of the category.
it's actually my case too, like abatawa,i most of the time end up ordering chill stuff.
love n light
G'luck itay with your album, mazaltov in advance

I would like each party to end with a chill out performance (live or dj set)...

Or the last deejay to fade his set out with chilled beats... (Dash & Sanuk @ ZoOm 2003 in example were over great doing it.. -and the few tracks before the breakbeats... aie aie aie this was so good stuff !)

Elsewhere the "crash" of the finnish is too brutal.. Your mind remain so excited for a few minutes.. Just buzzing, u know..

Besides.. It makes the people move from the party in a more fluid way.. with all the good aspects that are ensued..

I hope so. I don't really buy psytrance anymore, but I spend quite a bit on chill CDs every month.
I find the music more timeless, tasteful, and a better investment.

Here in the USA that it's difficult to get the "right" (positive, psychedelic-minded) new people into the psy-trance scene.

But the people I like to be around are much more open to downtempo sounds!

Kukan-dub-lagan:

Check out more about the scene in B.C. Canada. I heard they have lots of ALL CHILL parties...no full on...and it attracts a wonderful crowd and energy. I will be checking it out next summer!
