now this is a realy nice and interesting post
i also see trax by colours, also sometimes i organize my sets by a sequence of colors
my preference goes to bright colours like yellow
bright blue, red, orange, ...... and so on
like the most here i thought it something that only happened to me that's cool!!!
in my opinion a dj's set must have if possible all colours avaiable by the trax owned by the dj

I think colors is the first step 
I see pictures while listening to GOOD psy.
if it really good track I can get in to it like a game or something. 
and when u drunk and such , it can be even scary  
damnnnnnn trance is fun !
what if everyone of us will think positive about peace ?

i think it depends on what energies you yourself are aligned to......
green = heart energies, - unconditional love, giving without expectation etc.
violet = third eye/crown area, very potent colour for spiritual cleansing and clearing.

i love this sample too, but it is slightly different... it is from a poem called 'black polished chrome' by jim morrison (from 'an american prayer'). it is a wonderful (and prophetic?) passage, and i had used it in my signature for quite some time...
The music was new,
black polished chrome
And came over the summer
like liquid night.
The DJ's took pills to stay awake
and play for seven days...

Let me tell you all that blind men can imagine things and colours when they listen to music.
You just can't imagine blue if you're listening to Iron Maiden... and it seems to me there is a relation between music and colours. This can be crazy, but the rainbow has seven colours just like music has seven major keys. Maybe it's just a coincidence...
You realise everything you learn is in fact just learned, not necessarily true... |

I think that the music got color, but in different way. That it is more powerful when you have the colors of the nature or the UV colors around you when you listen to the music.
But, when I close my eyes listening to the music, I don't see colors, I only have increased feelings which make me imagine some staff conected to music. For instance in the melodic trance it is sunrice, nature etc. Which for me is the Green, Yellow, Violet and etc....
