Do you support your local scene?

I wonder how many people do actually support their local scene and local artists. I get comments from people asking me why I buy music produced by Israeli artists (which is totally by coincidence), given that I am an Arab but for me good music comes with no nationality, and I never felt biased to accept or reject anything based on its country of origin.
Do you feel any duty or pride to support local talents from your country, and do you actually do that?

I do not think about nationality when it comes music or the matter of fact, psytrance. The only thing that comes to my mind when i listen to psytrance is the vibes and the energy. In fact, i like many Russian, Belgian and Israeli artists/DJ's more than Indian artists. I do support local talent in whatever ways I can, but that's just to let them know that whatever they are doing is appreciated. That's a way of saying thanks bruv, for playing such nice psytrance! If i get a chance, i'll support foreign artists exactly in the way. Nationality or language doesn't make a difference for me.           Om Trayambakam Yajaamahe

i support the scene by helping organize events....            "On the path of spirituality, one ventures to vanquish one’s own faults rather than to judge others"

Nice topic!

I would assume all of us are a little patriotic if nothing else!! Since our country Pakistan only has one released artist 'Getafix' it comes naturally to support the one person who puts your country on the psytrance map

We're actually the pioneers here for introducing the whole scene and organizing events, so yes definitely I support the local scene & the artists--including the DJ's!!

I'm still a huge fan of all the other international artists as well-- much respect to them

We are the only people who keep the scene alive here on the island...My friend colin created it back about 8 years ago or so and now we still make small parties and try to keep the spirit alive even though we need new music that inspire us to make more parties!

When it's a good Israeli album (too rare these days) I make sure I buy it.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Music is an Universal lenguage. No nationalities, no boundaries. If the music is good and speaks to you I don't care who produces, so I support the creativity not a nationality.
