Hello,
I have undertaken a personal detox from alcohol, cigs, "etc" since maybe 2 weeks now.
I have started dreaming a lot more. I don't have flat lined sleep anymore. Music gives me a much cleaner "feel good" process.
Does this happen to you as well?

Nope, still drinking me tits off/getting high as a kite on a daily basis.
Detox will have to wait for this summer to pass...

its because of the cannabis, when I stop I dream more too.
If you want to have a real vivid dream try putting on a nicotine patch before you go to bed, vivid dreams are listed as a side effect on the packaging of these patch's, I experience it when Im trying to quit smoking cig's.... and it can get really friken intense sometimes, wake up in sweats. I guess thats why the native americans would use tobacco in their rituals, its a psychoactive as well |

i like dreams in my sleep they 're nice and i miss them because of smoking, but i prefer dreaming awake with a spliff.

i smoke heavily, and i lucid dream a BUNCH. So you are saying if i was to not do such thing, i would of the sudden become some astral super hero?

Normally not so much. Too much weed. I do my dreaming during the day mostly, while I´m awake. Last night I had a nightmare though. It sucked

why u guys think weed makes u stop dreamin ?
it happens to me aswell... when im in heavy smoker basis i dont fuckin remember my dreams....but when i quit smoke..after like 4 days , i start feeling everything ffrom my dreams beside remembing it..

I don't know where you live, but you can look for a dream circle that gathers every now and then, or maybe start one.. I have very powerful dreams, many times they affect me for many days.. but i love it |

I think it clearly shows the relaxing effect it has on the brain.
While sleeping under the influence or "high" your brain just shuts down (there are very few synapses that are firing) but when we sleep sober our brain is more active.
That is just my two cents

I don't think I dream less...I just don't remember it when I smoke, or at least not nearly as much as when I don't smoke.
That's what I tell myself anyways.
