do you do ritual in trance

the importance of the rituals:
when the macrocosm around the space is "dirty"then the air we breath(prana)pollute our microcosm deep within us,when the atmosphaire around us is full of negetive energy or dark spirits is around the place ,then needs to be purified and be cleaned with a typical ritual...Goa Gill as Baba now every time before start his set in a party always doing a kind of a typical ritual to excorcize the demons as he says.
I believe that every artist before start produce music is good to do a kind of ritual to give his respect to the holy spirit and asking for inspiration in making music and a good sacred spirit full of positive spirit is welcome and free to give a kind of spiritual guidance to the artist.
I also believe that is always good to do a ritual in the beggining and at the end of a party to clean and purufy the atmosphaire around the dj,and that because sometimes dark demonic spirit visit the place and effect dancers and listeners negative wich sometimes get possesed or having a bad trip...so when we clean the place spiritualy than there is no danger for those who want to get in a trance state...and at the end of the party to get harmony in ballance and let the spirits leave us peacefully...

This is all very nice, but does it apply to psytrance played at the trendy commercial clubs in the nightclub scene? They do call it psytrance so shouldn't it be the same there as well? |

I remember my first goa parties at 94-95-96...were more like a pagan ritual spirit mystical ceremonies than a trendy fashion party as it became nowdays,dancers were more into the mystical shamanic beliefs and ideas...now only in india and not everywhere around that root trance land trancers making rituals as Goa Baba Gill who is still keeping that spirit alive in our century...

me and my girl fren call a Masseur and get a massage for an hour with warm lavender and olive oil  .

Now that is just so awesome. Too bad, we dont have very good masseuse out here in Blore.
As for me, I meet up all the people in the party, say my HI-Hello to them. Get to know what ds they are doing And then get back to dancing...

First, I wiggle my pectoral fins in a clockwise motion, then I flex my pelvic fins three times. After that, I start waving my tail back and forth a few times to get a good speed going, then BOOM! I leap out of the water and flap all my fins at once (even my adipose fin). Not to brag but the sight of the sun's rays bouncing off my glistening blue-green sides is quite a sight to behold!

yip. i have Sony MDR-V700's, which are pretty good headphones. i like to lie on my bed,with my eyes closed, smoking a jay, listening to crystal clear psy really loudly.
occationally ill light candles, insense and all that jazz. it does set the mood so to speak.

We do ritual but with psychedlic drugs like Ayuasca and DMT and acid you know when you go man! you go it´s Trance plus! for me Trance is the key to another dimension, LSD helps a lot!

"Aya"is a shamanic holy plant and we have to respect that sacred spirit by making a mystic ritual prepare before have an experience with it...Green Channel introduced me in that holy plant ,and now I do it as a shamanic typical ritual with other gnostic shamans to have a pure and mystical connection with god...I found there the true meaning of trance state defined by the roots of amazon jungle!!!
we must have a spiritual guidance when we trip in other dimensions...

call it a drug ritual not trance
so if u took drugs without listening to trance music what r u gonna call this ?
I know drugs might enchance the music and the whole part or expereience
but man why don't u try to be there with a clear state of mind and ture feelings
or u just need to be drugged just to enjoy the music
Ancient tribes used this scared plants ok so we try them to expereince what they did but do u believe in waht they beleived their gods way of living ect why do u just try to relate this drug expereince with them if u r coniveced by it why don't u believe in everything esle they did ?
psychdeleics might enchance and alert our feelings but it doesn't mean u have to do them as ritual cause u want to see light everytime

i think in this day and age people are so thirsty for some kind of spiritual meaning they will look anywhere they can find. Psychedelics do strange things to your head and they can be very revelatory, but people shouldn't take it all too seriusly...
don't try to find spiritual meaning in drugs or parties too hard because, all you will find is emptiness...
the real magic is in your friends, in the human closeness in decency... and humbleness... but i think that's overstated... look for the deeper meaning of things where is worth looking
