Alot of older guys love darkpsy, stop thinking you know all about it.

My honest opinion is:

If your 20+ yeras old and still listen to hardcore, gabber, darkpsy, harsdtyle your brain hasnt developed as it should and you should commit yourself to the nearest psychword. Just my honest opinion.

You're an epic twat. A mature listener actually would tend to like a variety of music, not just fluff and chin stroke music. Thinking tempo is related to maturity is probably the most infantile thing I've heard in a while. Have you heard Psykovsky's new album? Its crazy fast and definitely some of the most cerebral psy Maybe when I finally grow up I'll prefer Tiesto? Ludicrous.

Also, you should check yourself into the nearest remedial spelling class or at least install the spell check plug in for your web browser before you talk about anyone's mental development.           Spacecamppsyfari.com

A true musichead listens to all genres and any kind of good music by any artist at any given point of time... and never disrespects anything...           ?

I see more and more bands arrive with track titles like:

Hell Raver
Circus of Terror
Sadistic Intence
South of Hell

and so on...

Now I am a believer of that our scene should make room for all kind of people no matter who they and what religion they have but personally I think the limit has been reached here.

No one can deny that our scene was build on total different values and NOT on dark devil worshipping!

Discuss.

i dont really know what your scene was made from, what i sure know is that you should face your fears in life a bit more and not hiding from them. this way you will understand the rest of the music that you cannot understand right now..

to me music has nothing to do with jesus or satan, but even if an artist is attracted by somethings like you say, he/she is free to express his/her thoughts and feelings with music. there cannot be any judjement on the concept of the artists. you remind me of the common reaction of elder aninformed people who fear whats against their believes.

no hard feelings for anyone, really

cheers

why do people expect anything & everything randomly... some ppl take one genre and they expect all the other genres to be like that only... wats the fun in that if all the genres are same... its all different ppl... don expect anything... and yeah if u wanna call it insanity... maybe it is... don u ppl wanna experiene insanity or go crazy sometime?!!!... If not, i guess someone must've brainwashed such ppl and put sometihng in their head saying going crazy is a heresy or abomination or unacceptable or something... lol...
theres a saying by some great man, who said "Some people say they never go crazy... What truly horrible lives they must be leading"
Anyways, still at the end of it... if u ppl don like it or understand it, don listen to it... as simple as that!!!... why say bad things abt it?!...

The guy who does these videos goes by the name Cinortele. He's a Brazilian video artist who makes videos for darkpsy tracks that artists send him. he's got a lot, and they are very good. Here's a link to his youtube page.

some right wing Christians in US call Shiva the devil and they have a movement

Albert Churchward, another Masonic author states that the triangle pointing upward us a symbol for Set, which is one of the Infernal Names for Satan. [Signs and Symbols of Primordial Man , George Allen and Company, Ltd., 1913, p. 189, 309, and 471]. Then, Masonic author, J.S.M. Ward states, "With the point upwards, the equilateral triangle stands for Shiva the Destroyer and signifies the flame which rises upwards from the funeral pyre toward Heaven. This symbol is familiar to us in several degrees, most notably the Thirtieth degree." [Freemasonry and the Ancient Gods, 1921, p. 10-11; also reported by Masonic authors William Meyer, The Order of the Eastern Star, p. 20; Alain Danielou, The Gods of India , p. 385.

Pyramid_dollar_bill.jpg (42710 bytes)Shiva is another name for Satan in the occult. The triangle with one point pointing up is a symbol for Satan. Most likely this is the reason why the pyramid is such an important symbol to the Mason. This is the symbol on the reverse of the one dollar bill. This symbol contains two triangles: the Pyramid itself and the All-Seeing Eye of Horus (Osiris). Occultists know that both Horus and Osiris are alternate names for Satan. There is one more proof from Masonic authors, that Satan is the one they worship.

Masonic authors tell us that they worship Lucifer in yet another way. Lynn Perkins (a Masonic Author), states that "Shamballa has a bearing on the ancient origins of Freemasonry and upon its future in the coming Aquarian Age ..." [Masonry In The New Age, p. 56] Then, on pages 55-56, Perkins says that today's Mason has no idea that Freemasonry comes from such an ancient, esoteric source. Most Masons today understand that the roots of their organization are in Satanism. When Perkins said that Freemasonry had its origins in Shamballa, he just identified Masonry as Satanic. Alice Bailey, with her Demon Master -- Master D.K. -- writing through her, stated that "Shamballa is the mythological place where the 'Lord of the World', Sanat Kumara, or Shiva , is supposed to live." [Discipleship in the New Age Lucis/Lucifer Publishing, 1955, 135-36].

Masonic author, Perkins, has just admitted that Freemasonry originated in the place where Shiva (Satan) lives. Since the Bible clearly, boldly, and unequivocally states that Satan's place is in Hell, we can see that Masonry has just admitted that she originated in Hell.

i personally think devil is created just like god by power hungry humans who seek to control other peoples lives.           When death comes to your doorstep, make sure you are alive

No more than tracks about eastern religious gods really mean we are worshipping them.

That said, I also feel these tracks are a little "dirty" and not so much a joking matter, but I don't like dark psy anyways....

Interesting thread! Just because someone makes or listens to dark psy, it does not mean that they believe in satanism... All it is is another genre, something else to listen to, I also think good and evil is man made...

Its also personnel preference, I find dark to be more beefy and grinding + not so generic as some other trance. After a dark psy party I will often feel much more satisfied than going to a much more chilled party lol

"Do Devil Worshipping belong in this scene?"

If devil worshipping (or in the case of the video, witchcraft) is in your heart and mind then it belongs, just as much as Shiva, UFOs and scantily clad psytrance girls belong in the scene.

There are a lot of people into psytrance, and everything they bring to it belongs. That's the beauty of it. And you can take this or take that, it's up to you.

If people like making darker tracks, that's fine.

Most dark psy artists suck anyway... but, making the connection to satanism is weird, but it can't be that far off. If you go to some dark psy artists' websites, you'll see weird dark pictures, gross weird disturbed shit, that has nothing to do with what the scene is about.

The psytrance scene should be about life, energy, and fun... not death, destruction, screaming, crying, and fear, like the dark psy artists want to induce in the listeners.

I don't get the point. If you believe there's a message in every song, as one should, there is nothing good about dark psy with screaming and the sounds of people dying in the background.

It's just a waste.

PSYTRANCE at raves for instance is about CONNECTING with people in group trance. How can you connect with people with shitty dark psy? If people want to connect with other people on the basis of NEGATIVITY, then I guess it is up to them.

It is a lot like connecting with goth people.

Is it just a show? Do people actually want to be in this negative state of fear, sadness, and anger? or are they just doing it to feel cool/look cool.

On another note, I find it very different from watching horror movies, where there is no opportunity for looking cool, because movies are more singular things to a viewer.

I don't think this trend will go away soon.. (because oh man it's just so cool to hear people dying and screaming as they die while you listen to trance music. What a great way to be.)

BUT

There is DARK psy that isn't like this lifeless excuse for trance, -------- I'm talking about darker psytrance in a way that isn't about dying or feeling like shit or hating life, but darker songs that have much more meaning and are much more melodically inclined than droning on K BBB at such a low pitch that the notes can't even be discerned from the bassline.           www.musicproductionnatural.com || www.facebook.com/djamoeba | facebook page
