all this is made up as marketing tools, indeed I still did't see any worshippers of devil on trance parties, well some tripped out people sometimes can give some impressions. but hey it's all we self created, from young child you have been told already about them just to scare you to behave "correctly".
in some places they are satans in other djins in other monsters, and so on, but is all in your brain

So for example racism, child porn, gay bashing, jew hating are part of humanity. So does all that belong in the scene as well? Yeah its just another side of the coin, like you like goblins and fairies and some people like pointy hats and racism. Thats what some people seem to be saying here and sounds like total bullshit argument. I mean just because evil is part of this world we should accept it in our scene? Its kind of a stupid way to look at it if you ask me. Like stupidity at its best.
I mean to me the only arguments for devil worshiping that somewhat make some remote sense in our scene are that:
a) its just a game, not for real. Like kids getting a kick at watching horror movies. Its just inocent not real evil or anything like that. But if thats so, like wow.. is that what the scene has come down to?
b) the devil/satan and all that is actually something misunderstood. Like in the Christian bible with the story of adam and even in the garden where God forbids them to eat from the apple of knowledge. You think why would God want to forbidd us from the fruit of knowledge? That seems more like what somebody who is not omnipotent and is afraid of us having knowledge would do, somebody who wants to keep us in the dark through fear. You know what I mean? So then who is this serpent who is telling adam and Eve to eat the apple? My point is that we don't know the true origin and intention of all these relgious stories that are indoctrinated upon us like its the one total truth. But if this the spinn that the darkies are giving it to justify the devil symbolism then what are all those images of pain/tourture/etc for? like to make it scary?
But anyways. All this is just BS, what is important is weather we want peace, love and light in the scene or not. Like calling it devil worship just gives way to many interpretations and people arguing for and against. The bottom line is do we want love in our scene or do we want all that fake ego power trip evil bullshit that we hate in this world?
In my opinion its all about love. Like if your horror music has love and light inside maybe you are just creative because what is most important is that the core message underneath is tuned into what the scene for me is all about: love, freedom, respect, harmony.. yadayadayada
I mean lets stop the BS. What is this scene about? where do we want to push humanity, in which direction do we want to go. Just because there is shit in the world does not mean we need to be making music about shit. Some of the arguments here are just hard to take seriously.

well when you talk about the SCENE that stands for openess, freedom, mind-expansion etc...stuff like this as bad as they are do make their influence and enterance. The Scene is not like a country club or business club where there would be an interview process and members who indulge in such acts would be thrown out from the scene...its not going to happen. For me what attracted me to psy originally was that it didn't have the childishness of candykid/happy hardcore raves..
A Devil/satan party is the opposite side of the coin of that but even more childish and extremely lacking in intelligence.
