Stiking to the point that hadra's sayd, to name dark trance songs as "crazy demon mother fucker eats your mom" so example, that's stupid for me....no fun at all, that only means 2 things, they have no imagination to get a better name or....they somehow had a problem when they whore younger.
I like really a lot of dark songs, here at portugal, we have Menog....and he produces good dark trance and doesnt go around putting names like "Stain rules" "f*ck jesus and your mother and father".
But in the last 2 years these kind of stuff has appeared a lot more, if you watch psyshop website, have day, theres a a lot of new records, in on day theres like 4, new albuns of darktrance and 1 or 2 of them is going in this direction....like the parahalu album, its good music, miself i dont like it very much, but there are people who do, but....please "demons mother"....and VA "Lhiannon Sidhe" from MISTRESS OF EVIL REC. (the name says everything) has a track name "mega jesus of evil" .....this is funny...but whats the reason for this? sorry, but i dont get it...
I like trance a lot really, i only listen to trance about 5 years now, but since then till now, there's a group of people allways saying "im sick of full_on, when i go to partys i only listen to full_on, so now im gonna rebel"....What is this??Gms, skazi, infected mushroom, ManMadeMan, Space Tribe, Dino psaras....is all this full on???gms has is own psychedelic sound, but in the last months has ruined a little bit their sound but that's another trend. Skazi has good rock kind trance. infected mushroom is going on a kind of electronic stuff now, ManMadeMan, Space Tribe, Dino psaras all have their different kind of sound...Everything is full on?? its all in your mind!!!!!!, if in your country they only do the same kind of artist partys, its not our fault, do your own partys and invite very diferent kinds of artists. Keep on doing great dark or psychedelic or progressive or electro trance but...leave the stupid names at home. |

same with night and day music. this is all in the mind as well. i heve played the same live in both night and day and got the same results.
i think it should rather be called , good and shitty music. in night time ,they play the good music to get the party going, and in daytime they usually play the shitty music, cause the ppl are on more drugs and usually don`t care what they dance to anymore hehehehe
just kidding

people dont want to smile and laugh?
dont they like the sun and the optimistic morning sound?
they really like tracks with ppl screaming called murder on the dancfloor do they really like evil?

Sometimes its hard to run and smile and play in the sun when so much fucked up shit is going on in the world. Sometimes it seems like it makes more sense start a fire and let rage rip through my body and dance in honor of dark lord and in hatred of our stupid, petty, selfish, greedy human race. This is why sometimes themes of satanism and destruction fill me with joy and ecstacy while carefree happiness fills me only with contempt and a dull emotional aching.

I think in a party there is time for everything. Create a story that represent all aspects of humanity. We make mistakes, there is evil, but also there is incredible accomplishments, good hearted ppl and love and hope still exist. This new century has been defined by great polarization as the extremes get more defined and separated and we remain less and less centered.
Also I think naming tracks with evil names is a reaction by a group of innovators who wanted to break down from the goa stylistics and traditions. Although the spirit remains and words are just words... it is what every single one of us attaches to them that add the meaning. In a way, I feel this evil wave just shows some ppl are completly centered and sit neutral and enlightened as the world is set to confront each other from opposite poles.
We just want to dance, and that is the reason of our existence. |

I will tell you guys a strange, terrifying history I heard two or three years ago. I don't know the people involved in this case - but it's true, I saw the SOS in the net.
Four friends went to a small open-air psy party, thing is that all the the DJS were playing these tracks we're talking about: Werewolf, Satan's Presence and others with sad titles like these. At one point in this party, they started feeling pretty bad, as if a mist of bad energy was around the dancefloor. Then, some guys started howling like a wolves and they got in crowd madness altogether. The SOS I saw in a chat-room dedicated to religion was from one of the four friends asking everybody to help him, because he was having nightmares with werewolves and when he would wake up, he said he could feel something in the room with him. And all of them had the same feeling. This guy seemed to be the worst one, because he felt panicked when this dark energy was near him and he couldn't go to any places with shadows or lacking electric light - he said he was starting to see things moving lowly in the dark.
You may not believe this, but I do. All styles of music are energy carriers. If you feel happiness when you hear a positive track, you may feel the contrary with dark, or evil tracks.
Take care my friends. This world has a lot of things that we don't know yet, or understand. And it's dangerous to deal with it...

I believe you and him. I have heard and read about much worse (nothing to do with psy-music). I heard about some people who played with the wrong kind of magic (black magic) and ended op not being able to be in the darkness.

Ooooh man this is a really good topic. thats a crazy story about the werewolves at the party. i believe it for sure. ive seen so much crazy stuff...its startin to get pretty weird around here, but its kinda cool. back on topic though, i think whatever makes people listen cant hurt. if someone finds a style of music they like then good for them. they could just as easily say youre style of music doesnt fit or isnt right. if you no likey then no listen! however the message gets sent out... hehe

a psychedelic party should be a joyful experience where u get all the positive energy from the music and the people.. not some kind of sick mad rituals.
and yeah.. i have to admit that i believe this story. But i ve never heard the satanic trance before !! what is it ?i dont care what the music is called, as long as it doesn't involve any weird rituals |

haha ive never heard satanic trance before either, and personally i dont really care to. and who says people cant get joy from dark music. there is no light without darkness. People just dont respond without a little edge behind it. and is evil bad if you are evil for the right reasons? if you use evil to accomplish good then isnt that the same thing? |
